I did something similar with my housemate. The rule set was Steelsoul Benchless No fast travel (only exception is to use the tram to get to the hive) No savequits 112% Tax season (this means that any time you *can* spend geo, you *must* spend geo. So every time you go to dirt mouth, you have to buy at least something from both Iselda and Sly. You also have to unlock every stag as you walk past their entrances)

so the only way to do this challenge is to circumvent 2 problems that you have to deal with. 1st problem. You can't equip charms if you can't bench so how are you going to go about equipping kingsoul in order to progress to the true ending? 2 once you've figured that out, plz let me know because i want to see if you came to the same conclusion I did a year ago

@@win2ette For full disclosure, we haven't yet beat the game with these limitations. That said, we disallowed savequitting specifically as a means of survival. So if we were in a safe location, we could quit out and jump back in. There are a couple of places where you can do this and you wake up on a bench. The first is near the snail shamen (right after you get VS), and the second is outside the Gray Mourner's shack, which is crucial because it is resettable by talking to Gray Mourner. This allows you to equip charms as needed while never "technically" selecting to sit on a bench. On the Tax Szn rule - you are not allowed to progress past an area where you could spend money without spending that money (paying your taxes). This is brutal as you head down to Ancient Basin because you pass the fountain where you dump all your geo immediately before encountering a bench that you have to pay for before going to Broken Vessel to collect wings. Also, traditionally, we yell "tax season!" as we pay our taxes lol
