I was actually thinking “I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a manual Electric Terrain setter here” when I saw the team preview for game 2. That’s a cool strat that should probably be seeing more play. Qotd: I absolutely love Annihilape and Kingambit. Annihilape is a DBZ character turned Pokémon, and Kingambit looks like a Super Sentai-type villain. Great stuff.

Revavroom does seem like the ultimate Amoongus counter. Immune to powder moves and even if amoongus is running an attack, it is immune to poison and quad resists grass. And I have never seen an Amoongus run a non-stab attack, and like 99% of the time it is sludge bomb or clear smog lol.

My favorite thing about Revavroom is that it works on teams as both a speed demon oon speed-teams, and a trick room sunday driver. Spin Out lowering your speed by 2 stages is so incredibly strong in a trick room setting since after 1 Spin Out, if you have min-speed, you're almost guaranteed to outspeed anything in trick room. It's just such a shame that Revavroom's TM move pool kinda stinks.

Its great seeing all these pokemon most people don't use or try being used in different builds. I would really like to see someone preview a Hariyama with Burn orb, guts, Belly Drum and Normal Tera Facade. Everyone expects a fake out Trick room no one ever seems ready for the belly drum sweep. As much as I love using it, I do think it does require a better team builder than my self to build around it.

I loved the slow flutter mane, eject pack wo, with torkol and jumpluff with roaring moon. I threw in orthworm instead of the fish. And I love it, I miss having fun variety to shuffle pokemon in and out taking advantage of shed tail and smack down and so much other silly fun things.

Different format here but I have been doing a lot of Wi-Fi battles lately. I usually do singles battles and I have been using a team that includes revavroom. I use a jolly nature. Max attack and speed. Focus sash. Tera water. Moves are shift gear, iron head, poison jab, and tera blast. I have had SO MUCH success using it. After 1-2 shift heads it outspeeds even choice scarf pokemon. I usually prefer more accurate moves so I use poison jab over gunk shot. Also I know some people like to use spin out but the flinch chance (in my opinion) of iron head makes iron head the better move. Glad to see others talking about revavroom. Steel type are really good in this meta currently. The only problem is that we don't have top tier steel types. It's why Orthworm, Corviknight and Kelfki are being used despite their stats. They have good typing and ability and pair with Pokemon currently in the meta

I’ve never played Vgc before this season, but I’ve made it master ball tier and just three days. It was quite a struggle at first as I had sunny day murkrow and 3 proto Mons so I felt the need to always bring murky boy.. went 8-1 then went 6-15 finally gave up on sunny day and it made my ladder climb much smoother! I wish I had the ability to use an off brand team and win with it though…

i personally think it would have been interesting if clefable received the fighting/fairy type paradox form but in the past. CleFist! The Heroic pokemon. A Fairy/Fighting type. Main Ability: Justified. Hidden ability: Pure Power/Flare boost. Description: This pokemon came from an ancient time long lost and was said to only appear wherever there is justice needed! be it protecting eggs/baby pokemon or providing berries to those pokemon no longer able to hunt for themselves. This pokemon was once the living embodiment of justice itself and would always fight evil! Base Stats: HP: 140 ATK: 130 SPATK: 130 DEF: 120 SPDEF: 125 SPEED: 105 This pokemon would be a balanced attacker. You could go for a physical setup with pure power or justified or maybe go for a special setup with flare boost and catch opponents off guard if they go for a will o wisp. The Speed is nothing too special i think tailwind would help alot. The bulk on this pokemon is much better allowing it to hopefully tank atleast 1 or 2 hits without the need to outspeed. moves: moonblast, play rough, aura sphere, close combat, bulk up, calm mind etc. This pokemon has a large movepool giving it plenty of options for category and types of moves.
