When you walked into the room
There was voodoo in the vibes
I was captured by your style
But I could not catch your eyes
Now I stand here helplessly
Hoping you'll get into me
I am so into you
I can't think of nothing else
I am so into you
I can't think of nothing else
Thinking how it's going to be
Whenever I get you next to me
It's gonna be good, don't you know
From your head to your toe
Gonna love you all over, over and over
Me into you, you into me, me into you
I am so into you
I am so into you, ooh
When you walked into the room
There was voodoo in the vibes
I was captured by your style
But I could not catch your eyes
Now I stand here helplessly
Hoping you'll get into me
I am so into you
I can't get to nothing else
I am so into you baby
I can't get to nothing else
No, no, no, come on baby
I am so into you
Love the things you do
Listen baby
Driving me crazy, ooh
Come on baby, oo-ooh
I am so into you
Love the things you do
Come on baby
I am so into you
I am so into you, yeah
I am so into you

When the late Mr. Goddard (in the blue Hawaiian shirt with the glasses) was told by the record executives that he should "dress like a rock star", he continued to wear slacks from the likes of JCPenney or Sears and did things on his own terms. The late Mr. Hammond retired from the musical business at 51 and became a talented carpenter and house framer. From those that knew him, he was a quiet and devoted family man. RIP.

That’s the late Barry Bailey playing a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Deluxe. He was a big influence on my playing and I own a 1971 Goldtop and until a few years ago never knew that’s what he played. I’ve had people tell me that I’ve got a similar tone and that is a huge compliment ❤

@@russelstrings9978 Those guitars got a bad rap because of the sandwich body and mini humbuckers, a lot of us were routing them out for full sized humbucks, but most of us know the true sound is in the hands and ears of the player. Now days they're a respected guitar, Gibson has even reissued them.

That guy who was laughing at the beginning of this video looked like Tony Joe White, who wrote "Rainy Night In Georgia", and "Polk Salad Annie". He looked a bit sarcastic there. I think The Atlanta Rhythm Section was beyond amazingly talented. The lineup here was the ultimate best! They performed this song 100% live, with NO BACKING TRACK, OR AUTO-TUNE. Dean Daughtry's passing this past January means there are now no longer any members in ARS's classic lineup still alive; up until then he was the group's only member to play in all its various lineups. Ronnie Hammond (1950-2011) wasn't a founding member but he did take over from Rodney Justo as lead singer in 1973 before the release of the band's second album, Back Up Against the Wall. OBITUARIES Ronnie Hammond (November 10, 1950 - March 14, 2011) -- lead vocals, harmonica Robert Nix (November 8, 1944 - May 20, 2012) -- drums Paul Goddard (June 23, 1945 - April 29, 2014) -- bass J. R. Cobb (February 5, 1944 - May 4, 2019) -- guitar Barry Bailey (June 12, 1948 - March 12, 2022) -- guitar Dean Daughtry (September 8, 1946 - January 26, 2023) -- keyboards

12 years old I used to listen to this song every day in El Salvador, not knowing what they were saying, now I’m blessed to live in this beautiful country and understand the lyrics. Thank you

For me, it took age for me to appreciate styles like this! Soft rock, now labeled yacht rock is really a great place for smooth, listening! It is difficult to be in touch with everything that you may like, or have loved! But it’s moments like this that help me appreciate the excellence And great playing of bands like this! I don’t know the numbers, but just watching this live video, the guitarist doing the lead reminds me of Skunk Baxter. Which, as we all know what is in a league of his own! this is an amazing live performance to say the least!
