I tried special k to tweak the hdr but unfortunately since the game doesn’t have any native hdr support it breaks the color gamut

the main thing is Mash listened to his community! dropped the ridiculous price and is working on fixing existing issues and adding to this project! fair play to Mash! a lot better than most devs these days! 👏

I've given Mash more leeway considering he's not got as many recources as a triple A studio! :) ..but the point is no matter if you're an indie dev or a triple A studio then there's still no excuse for grame breaking bugs; and Mash knew that because otherwise he wouldn't have dropped the price would he! :)

for anybody who, like me, was having a lot of problems with manual balance, you can change the stick response curve in steam's controller settings. it also makes turning in manuals a bit easier. its less touchy. even with the tweaks to manual balance, i recommend doing this anyway at least for the right stick because it really does help. i set mine to reduced on both sticks.

My opinions today are far from my day 1 opinions (though I was enjoying it from the get-go). I see this game as a physics sandbox. You create an idea, and from there you manipulate the physics until it looks exactly as you imagined. If you want to spam some crazy tricks, great! If you want to make lines that look as close to real life as possible, that’s great too! One you get things right, the results are great, just don’t expect to get it right first time. I can spend hours trying to hit a single line and I’m over the moon when it finally looks clean. Love it!

With the tooth picks grind I was the same initially (trying to push the left stick right to keep it straight) but it makes sense pushing left as it goes with the way you rotate (back end swings right but means you are trying to spin left) if you want to do a tooth hanger back ends needs to swing out right, so steering left as if you are rotating almost doing a 180 to the left (based on right foot forward riders irl anyway, most of them spin to their left)

The only 3 things I wanna see changed in this game are 1.I’d like an option to be able to control the riders body with the right stick and steer with the left stick so he didn’t look so stiff when riding (no diddy) 2.I’d like to be able to do bar spins in a manual and be able to go from back tire to front tire while spinning without a hitch on pipe you could on this game it’s wonky. And a trick editor or multiple trick layout options because this is not enough tricks at all maybe a pipe input layout in the setting to switch back an forth? Idk… but to every person complaining about the map. If you don’t see the spots EVERYwhere you either never skated rode bmx or ever watched any action sports in yo life cuz this map is beautiful.

@5:00 Teku the reason the mouse didnt work for the teleporter mod is because the Old unlock all mod locked the cursor when the button wasnt visible. I updated the mod to not do this anymore, also you dont even need to press a button anymore, itll automatically unlock everything and give you 999999 stars. The peg mod also locks the cursor

As a skater IRL, I always love any of these type of games, have 100+ hours in Session and XL, and this game is so much fun, the first 3 hours were really rough tho (just like Session lol). The changes have been great. Slowly getting better at it, sometimes there are so many inputs you have to do especially if you want to do a flair + whip or something. I wish mash could add an option to flip without having to use LT. I'm getting used to it, but rather just use the stick. Also this game would really benefit from a pin dropper like XL, Session Also yeah the lean on rails when doing 1 pegged grinds is so weird, but ill get used to it :)

Nose grinds work that way because you want his back end to move the opposite direction of his spin. Think of hanger 180s, if im spinning left out of a hanger on my right side peg my back end goes to the right over the obstacle im grinding.

Instead of using the triggers to do a side hop, flick the stick up and to the left or right and you'll do a lil side hop.

Trying to 180 on to rails seems janky still imo, He either jumps over the rail or the front tire bonks off or he’ll just jank down the rail, think im still doing something wrong tho coz other people seem to be able to do them really steezy

game is borderline playable if you’re just trying to have fun and doing tricks however the challenges are GOD AWFUL and resulted in a broken controller for me lol. they are so poorly designed and stupid they don’t even make sense. it almost feels like they had AI generate some of them im not even kidding. backflip to tooth on a rainbow rail mega ramp??? seriously in what universe does that even look cool. what about that challenge where you have to nose manual across the pond with the absolute worst run up imaginable??? i’m still not even sure how you’re supposed to complete that and make it look proper also you’re supposed to 360 at some point??? even though it’s literally not possible to 360 out of a nose manual on flat because if you turn the slightest amount the bitch just pivots around at the speed of light and then it registers as a “fakie 180” it’s just extremely unbelievable to me that anyone play tested the missions and then had the audacity to slap a $40 price tag on it. truly kind of disgusting behavior i really regret giving it a second chance and blowing my steam refund. i’ve never refunded a game in my life but this definitely would’ve been the first if it let me.
