Now hear me out: The Dimension Update. Part 1 (1.22): The End Update. 4 new biomes: Ender Fields (somewhat like the warped forest but purple and green, green "ender" wood) Wiped Fields (dead ender fields with new "ender power blocks", white "wiped" wood) Bended Lands (mix between soul sand valley, basalt deltas and lush caves). Ender Swamps (basalt hills and pink ender waters which give the Ender Plague effect to players) The old end is kept and called the End Isles, but is also somewhat updated. New blocks and items: Blocks: More endstone blocks (chiseled, slabs, stairs, etc) Ender Power blocks (bright purple, commonly generate in Wiped Fields and Bended Lands, kinda like shroomlights. Crafted with 8 Ender Power Shards and one Nether Quartz or obtained with silk touch) New Ender Wood type (green) Ender Fruit block (kinda like shroomlights, can be smelted into chrous fruit) New Wiped Wood type (white) Bended Endstone blocks (stairs, slabs, bricks, etc) and Bended Roots found in the Bended Fields biome More block variations on the stone cutter (quartered, etc. Maybe vertical slabs?) Items: End Power Shards (obtained from mining End Power Blocks, crafting ingredient) Condensed Power Shards (crafted using 4 obsidian, 4 end power shards and 1 diamond or found in the new structures. Used to temporarily supercharge equipment, adding protection and efficiency and/or damage) Teleporter: Can be connected to a Lodestone and teleports the player to said Lodestone. Crafted using a compass, 3 obsidian, 2 Ender Power Blocks and a Netherite Ingot. Charged Bone Meal: Crafted using Bone Meal and 2 Ender Power Shards. The only way to reproduce end trees a faster alternative to normal bone meal. New equipment tier: Enderite. The new Dragon's Waste block can be found extremely rarely in the End (most commonly in the Bended Fields, Ender Isles and Ender Swamps biomes) or obtained in chests in the new structures. Dragon's Waste can be "compressed" (crafted using and returning 4 or using a stonecutter) into Enderite Pieces, which can then be crafted into Enderite Ingots requiring 2 Enderite Pieces, 1 Netherite Ingot and 2 Condensed Power Shards. Applied to netherite equipment using the new Enderite Upgrade smithing template. New structures: Endermite Colonie. Similar to an ant colonie in real life. Contains some suspicious gravel, a couple loot chest and 5 endermite spawners. Ender Residence. Similar to an overworld village but structured differently and with some different features such as an extended library. The Ender Fortress. Somewhat similar to bastion remnants but with different features. Can be of 3 types: 1. The Farm. Contains 2 Endermite Colonies and a breeding room for the Ender creatures (Shulkers and the new End slugs) and some loot chests. 2. Rural Area. Contains some shulkers and a residential area with some loot chests. Can contain 0-4 diamond blocks. 3. The Vault: Contains a guarded treasure room which contains at least 4 diamond blocks (20max) and 1-4 good loot chests which contain a guaranteed Enderite Upgrade template and can contain an Enderite Ingot. The rest of the structure is similar to the rural area. The End Cities are slightly modified to incorporate new blocks and have new features added but are mostly kept the same way. New mobs: King Endermite. Bigger endermite, spawns in the new Endermite Colonie structure. Can give the Ender Plague effect to the player. Upon death drops the new Spectral Potion (1:30min duration) Enderman Brute. A stronger enderman with long distance attacks that cant teleport. Upon death drops an Ender Pearl and an Ender Power Shard. End Resident. Kinda like endermen, but passive. Can lead the player to some of the new structures in exchange for emeralds. End Slugs. A mix between slimes, ghasts and silverfish. Can fly or compress to crawl on land. Has 2 variations, both with different textures: the Compressed Slug (land) and the Decompressed Slug (air). Each drops different loot upon death: Normal: 1 Ender Power Shard and 1 Slug Extract, used to make Potions of Levitation for 15 seconds. Has a chance of dropping Slime Balls and/or Gunpowder and a very small chance of dropping a Condensed Power Shard. Land: Same but without the gunpowder. Air: Same but without the slime and Slug extract drop rate is reduced. New Potions: Spectral Potion (highlights entities' positions). Obtained from the King Endermite or in loot chests. Potion of Levitation (makes the player levitate). Obtained in loot chests or brewed using Slug Extract. 3 new armor trims: Void Armor Trim (20% rate in loot chests), Slug Armor Trim (35% rate in endermite colonie loot chests) and Final Armor Trim (1% rate in loot chests). 3 new music discs: ?, ? and ?. (i aint no composer) New Enchantment: Void Power: Applied to all gear, Reduces damage taken and upgrades damage dealt when at a lower Y level. As a fan of all things winter, I would love to see an overhaul of snowy regions, similar to the nether update in size and scope. Maybe not immediately, but I would love to see a new element added in a similar way to how wind was added. Here's a basic idea of what could come: New effect: Frozen (or Frost) Frozen is an effect like fire in that it isn't removed by milk. It slows all movement by 25% and causes all damage taken to increase by 1 point. It can be caused by staying in powdered snow for too long, getting in the new icy water liquid block (similar to lava, and it causes a more powerful 50% speed drop from the frozen effect), snow golems, new enchantments such as Icy Point (sword, incompatable with Fire Aspect) or Chilling Shot (Bow, incompatable with Flame), and the new mob, The Freeze. It can be countered by getting within 3 blocks of a flaming block to remove it or with the insulation enchantment for armor (incompatable with fire protection) New mob: Freeze Similar to the Blaze and Breeze, this mob will quickly fire Icy charges from afar, which cause the frozen effect and deal very little magic damage. Up close, it will attack with a ring of frost around it that applies the stronger frozen effect. It slowly "walks" (floats on the ground) around at a speed just above 50% of the player sprinting speed. It will drop Freeze Rods (1-2, 50%) and occasionally snowballs (3-4, 10%) New item: Freeze Rod and Icy Charges Icy Charges can be thrown in a straight line and will apply frozen to whatever it hits. (Fire Charges will also get functionality) they can be crafted with Freeze Rods to get a new weapon, the Ice Wand New weapon: Ice Wand Right clicking with create a cloud of frost in front of you. This will add a frozen effect to anything hit. Think of it like the Ice Wand from Legend of Zelda BOTW. It will also create one layer of snow on unoccupied blocks. It would probably get enchantments, too, but I'm not sure what. New biome: Icestone Caves Icestone (or a more creatively named block) is like stone, but it has slippery ice effects applied. Icestone Caves have Icy Water running through them and new Icicles, which are like Dripstone, but unable to be near fire. Icestone Caves will be shown on the surface with small ice spikes above them. This is important because Icestone Caves will also hold Tundrite New ore: Tundrite Like netherite, but icy. Tundrite spawns as single vains of Tundrite Core, which smelt into one Tindrite Ingot. Adding Tundrite to diamond armor with Tundrite Upgrade Templates found in frozen castles turns it into Tundrite Armor. Tundrite Armor can make frozen effects wear off quicker, remove ice slipperyness, and generally make navigating icy areas easier. New structure: Frozen Castles Frozen Castles will be similar to Nether Fortresses, but more condense. They spawn in just about any cold biome (outside of mountaintops) and will spawn Freezes, aggressive versions of snow golems, strays, and other mobs that I don't know yet. Each castle has a spire that has a Freeze spawner and a 100% chance of one Tundrite Upgrade Template (can be copied with 1 Blue Ice) These are basically all the ideas I have for a potential Ice Update. More would definitely be added, but I'm not worried about that now. Feel free to read through it if you, too, have a passion for winter themes or just like minecraft/game design ideas. I think it'd be interesting if they overhauled the end progression. You have the Blaze, and now the Breeze, now add something like a Bubble and a Burrow (B names off the top of my head to keep roughly on theme). 4 elements. They could be found in preexisting structures, like the ocean monument and, say, a classic dungeon? Maybe they'd get their own new structures. You'd need to use powder made from the rods of each mob for 4 different types of eyes of ender, then require 3 of each of those to open the end portal. That way, it'd revamp the challenge of going to the end and getting elytra, forcing you to experience more of the game on the ground before getting flight. Maybe the different types of eyes only point toward the stronghold in different types of biomes, or are dependent on distance, or they each work like the current eyes, and it's just opening the portal that requires all of them. Perhaps they could add explorer maps that point to each structure for cartographers to sell, so you wouldn't just have to wander and dig. I don't think this is the direction their going, cause people would probably get mad at them limiting elytra like that, but I think it'd be cool.

Mojang really needs to revamp the end, the last time was 8 years ago with the END SHIP. Something that did change the game but only for after the completion of the normal game. Mojang needs to revamp the end blocks and the end itself, the dragon fight has gotten so easy even monkeys can beat it (mostly). Mojang needs to add dimensions or more bosses (and no the warden isnt a boss) because the past few updates havent added anything other than side quests (as camman18 said in the video) the trial chambers 1.21, 1.20 trail ruins, 1.19 ancient cities, 1.18 huge caves, ect. normally you wouldnt find an ancient city or any trial ruins without hours of running/flying around because trail chambers can be found with a map. What im saying is, we have a hell - nether an earth - overworld a final fight - end. So, one thing Mojang should add is the AETHER, they already had it but scrapped it for the nether. They should make it so you get something required for the end there like a boss or something because that would make speedrunning so much harder to do in shorter times. TL;DR Mojang needs to add a new dimension or big rework to the end.

I had a thought; why not have an update themed around a revisitation of the adventure update from beta 1.8 and release 1.0? features added then include hunger, potions, enchanting, mushroom islands, nether fortresses, strongholds, and the end. all of these are quite lackluster today. a lot of these revisitations could also include features from minecraft dungeons since they happen to fit pretty well with this idea (and also a lot of people want features from mc dungeons, myself included). idk about you but this seems like a surefire way to release a banger update without having to put in a bunch of effort.

@@michaelelischer1565 I don't want current Microsoft-influenced Mojang touching Mushroom Islands and don't care about the end too much (I hate mods that add floura to the end and a bunch of stuff, it's supposed to be barren). Reason I don't want them touching the Mushroom Islands is cause they are so simple and a Easter egg so it's fine, and not everything needs a big overhaul, especially when they have had made a few things worse recently (tried to ruin Pistons, I hate the new "cutesified" Bat, not a fan of Sniffer's design because look at how something in beta 1.8 compared to it, just way too much of a deviation from classic style Minecraft). And I could go on...

@@KansasToYou I agree that the end should remain barren, and I'm glad someone else finally agrees but barren does not necessarily mean completely featureless imo. as for the mushroom island, I don't want anything big (that's why it would only be 1 of 5/6 sections of the update), maybe just the cluckshroom from mc earth. and some small fungi related decor item.

If they add a new set of end armor, it better not just be called enderite or endite or some stupid shit like that. And it better not end up having the EXACT same recipe and functionality as netherite. I want a whole new set of armor with new ores and higher levels of protection than diamond and netherite. That way Mojang can freely make the end much more difficult because now they have a set of armor that can take much more than what diamond can take, meaning they can add much more difficulty to the game. But knowing players, they’ll just react the same way they did when netherite was added. For no reason, the Minecraft community thinks that no new set should ever be added if it’s better than diamond, which is stupid, because that means no new set can ever be added beyond the ore progression line, meaning past the overworld, it would be pointless, which is why it’s so annoying that the one time Mojang finally did this with netherite, the community stupidly got mad. There’s literally no reason that they shouldn’t add an ore that makes a set of tools and armor that’s stronger than diamond. It wouldn’t ruin the game, that’s literally impossible, because all it does is add another tier above diamond, not a whole new combat system like with the mace. There’s no reason not to add it and every reason to add it, but because Minecraft players are so damn nostalgic, they just never want change if it’s too extreme, even if it’s good. It doesn’t change the overall game design, in fact, it literally adds new stuff to it and enhances it. In fact, the only reason netherite was ever seen as overpowered wasn’t because it was stronger or more durable than diamond, it was because it had knockback resistance, which no set had at the time. The only reason it actually ended up being bad at all wasn’t even because it was better than diamond. It was because it had a specific feature exclusive to netherite that overpowered most knockback

here is my idea: The travel update! here is what this update should do: faster micecarts, makes rails and powers rails cheaper, faster horses, give the fastest horses a energy bar so they have to rest, this will make mine carts better to use when traveling between bases, it will also make horses better for traveling to new areas makes some ores and villager trades more common in certain biomes but still not making it all one ore just more common, make a change to the elitra
