The fact that minecraft world generation breaks when changing versions gave me an interesting idea for a mechanic in a game. In this game the protagonist is trapped in a matrix and to fulfill certain objectives you must change between versions of this matrix and take advantage of bugs to pass through blocked parts of the map, pass through places where certain enemies do not exist in certain versions, the possibilities are endless. If someone makes a game like this, I would love to play.

i think an interesting challenge would be trying to beat the ender dragon without crafting anything, just relying entirely on villagers and stuff you pick up

Too easy The only challenge is without crafting right? 1st step: find a village 2nd: make villager breeder 3nd: invest the village so you can have max level toolsmith, weapon Smith and armorer for full enchanted diamond armor, also enchanted book from village and use anvil from village blacksmith so you have perfect enchanted armour For all of the necessary building let just use dirt since who cares, until you can get tool from toolsmith you pretty much only can work with hands means you can't break stone yet. Gear up Enchanted sword from weapon smith Enchanted bow from fishing Enchanted Fish rod from villager fisherman Arrow from fletcher Now for potion Find cleric villager, get his brewing stand, find some witch get bottles or just fishing so you have bottle, go to nether fortress to find blaze powder from fortress loot chest and netherward to make potion (Note you can find obsidian from villager blacksmith including bucket too so you have 2 ways to build a nether portal, lightning it up can be done using bucket of lava and some plank near portal) Just make necessary ones Slow falling (phantom membrane) Regeneration for sure (golden carrots from master farmer villager) Now with all of that you can defeat enderdragon without crafting The hardest part will be finding each necessary workbench block for necessary villager since a village won't always have everything And since you can't craft, means you can't get fermented spider eyes for potion weaknesses to cure villager, meaning only raids will help you decreasing the villager trades number. Only "cheat" Part from this is using world seed that has fully turned on end portal since generated, i don't remember if there's any loot chest that has eye of ender nor villager trades so to make it possible. So using a seed that already has turned on the end portal, you can get to fight the enderdragon.

You can use mangrove roots to move water from your ocean and onto your village's well. Simply place the root on the water to waterlog it, then use pistons to move it around, then break the roots at the desired location and the water should flow out normally from it.
