Yeah, I think the distortion character would suit some trem riffs quite nicely. Scooped, but just enough it isn't annoying, trebly enough to bite without being too grating, solid pedal.

You should try the KHDK Ghoul Screamer. It’s one of the most versatile overdrive pedals out there. If you actually dial it in the right way, you can get instant Metallica if that’s what you want. A lot less static-y, too.

Great vid as always. Love the honesty and that even though you personally may not vibe with the piece of equipment, that you are able to remain neutral and give positive thoughts. This definitely seems like a pedal more suited for extreme types of metal, which I'm also just not a fan of myself. Can't wait for the next vid!

Have you gotten to try it on the distorted channel on an amp with the gain on the pedal turned down lower? I’m curious as to wether it would be good to use a distortion pedal as kind of a boost on amps that don’t have all that much gain on the dirty channel if your guitar doesn’t have high output pickups. 🤔

I started doing it because it was a fun thing to do. It has now spiraled into a way for people to tell me how much they Truly hate me. I wear them now because something as silly as wearing contacts makes people so threatened they take their day out on me, when I have done nothing but be welcoming to everyone who comes to the channel

you reminded me to order new contacts,lol..nice demo..sounds way better on your demo than the other demo I watched. even tho it doesnt sound that good TBH (the pedal itself and your horrific playing..lmao,JK Ray! lol). some dude has one of these for sale in town for $200,seems steep to me,especially since I already have the ABSOLUTE KING, BEST DISTORTION PEDAL EVER PRODUCED. Its rare,as it had a ton of reliability issues. Ive had now 4 of them due to breaking down,lol. The one I have now Ive repaired 3x,lol. Its a Zoom Driver 5000. Trust me, its a fucking BEAST and has the best tones ever, like 5 diff base sound settings, EQ, ZNR noise reduction, has ability to save a setting, and sounds the most like a tube amp in a pedal ever. They are rare as they only made em 1 yr i think in like 1993. I had 3 of them in HS, from Guitar Center back then at $100. I was able to have em replaced for free back then as they broke like every 3-6 months. They sound THAT GOOD that I deal with the breaking down to use it. It also has this like odd setting, the ZOOM distortion on it is one of a kind and sounds like the "Joan Of Arc" Melvins song tone. the rest sound sick, the R&B setting seems like a secret joke as its SUPER DEEP DARK AND HEAVY AF, NOT R&b sounding AT ALL,lol. You gotta find one on Ebay,they are like $80 if you can find one. sometimes less or more. Zoom started making diff pedals around the time they stopped production on this one and NONE sound remotely close to it. Its this rare gem that captured the sickest tones ever,especially if you get it set right on the "stack 2" setting. Absolutely amazing tone, sounds like White Zombies Astro Creep in some settings, or Mudvaynes LD50 tone, to Metallicas Justice tone to Machine Heads Burn My Eyes tone. amazing little piece of unreliable shit.lol
