Great Work bro. I'll add my 2 cents here. There are diverse approaches to drum solos. It depends on the musical situation and the style of music. A typical approach is the use of ostinatos being played by a limb or 2 while other limbs improvise. For example, clave and other millions of patterns. In addition, drum solos can be open form. It can be as a response to another instrument (which jazz musicians call TRADING). It can be improvising over a vamp. Understanding the context is very important. Drum Solo in African music scenario is different from a funky, r&b. I will leave it here.

The one and only Drumminicator! Your comments are always filled with knowledge. Thank you so much Sir. I understand what you were saying here too to an extent, and I might make another video talking about it.

Non-drummer here, just wanted to commend you. You're quite articulate in your delivery. I honestly can't wait to see your platform grow bigger. Love the smack on your snare. Also you might want to look into your toms. Not sure what it is but there's some weird phasing/resonance going on

That's Chris Coleman. He's one of my favorite modern drummers. Check out his song "Go", it's an amazing drumming performance.

Yeah! I've watched "Go" so many years ago and I still go back from time to time to watch it.
