These are the stories we should be getting way more often. Will visit and spend $$ if I am ever in town.

Tim is a great guy. I’ve shopped at Comic College off and on for 15 years and he remembers me no matter how long it had been since I was in.

Comics aren't stocks and bonds, its a hobby to be enjoyed. May he get the next generation reading.

Except comics increase in value by about 10% each year, year over year as long as condition remains the same (excluding modern books). That outperforms most stocks.

Why can't it be both? I have comics I read, I also have comics that could be a down-payment on a house I wouldn't dare touch.

Every time I make a trip to Mpls I stop in the Comic Book College, by far one of the best in Minnesota.

It looks like this store is oldest only by a few years. DreamHaven Books & Comics opened in 1977 and Uncle Hugo's (focusing on science fiction and fantasy more than comics) opened in 1974. Granted, both bookstores have changed locations so Comic Book College's actual storefront is the longest running. But in the case of Uncle Hugo's, that circumstance was beyond his control when his building was burned to the ground during civil unrest. It's not that I want to deny accolades from one of these but rather to celebrate the banquet of all three in the Twin Cities.

Hope he stays in business for years to come! Especially with the current crummy state of comics.
