I love how you moved into manipulating the background into the lead shapes not just putting down the straight color. Creativity should be like that embracing what you’re feeling moment to moment. After all art is about what’s in your heart and making others see what isn’t revealed without a closer look. @@RinskeDouna So, when you are creating these particular abstract paintings, do you use paint that is mixed with a medium other than water, or are you referring to the paint that is already thinned down? That's really good. I think you could go one step further by doing a background in a completely non complimentary colour, which would add a depth to all those background leaves and rushes. Layering seems to me to be the key to this, as well as using unusual colour combinations. Great stuff x
