James had one of the most beautiful riding styles though... Looks similar to Pecco Bagnaia

Nice recap of JT's MotoGp career, I like and still like him as a rider and he seems to be a nice person! There was just a a podcast with on OMG MotoGp.

Every time we saw a wsbk rider go to MotoGP there was hype, and we thought will this person be tye one who makes it but sadly none did , Edwards had some success but never won a race , after listening to ben spies explain the difference in wsbk vs motogp i now know why
@motorsportfanboy77694 ай бұрын
Funnily enough, the one who did got the most success moving from WSBK to GP is Crutchlow

Great video dude. It was a real shame it didn't work out for james in MotoGP. He was a great bloke & an exciting rider that i think most of us UK fans thought could make a real impact. As we all know ben spies had a hard time with the GP bikes as well & i saw a fantastic interview with him where he explained the difference between the superbikes & GP bikes better than anyone else i've heard. I guess in general if your style is tuned into superbikes it's really hard to make that switch to MotoGP. Thanks for the vid JWTM.

JT52 was always going to fail at Tech3. Every year the T3 team had new that year bikes with tech support from Yamaha. However as the season progressed, basically the money ran out. Rebuilding was skimped over. CE5 was in same position.

He tossed it(without an S). So much hype, little reward. Infinite content you have, Juliette Whiskey. Toseland isn’t alone.

nice vid but there was not a real hype for toseland, except maybe in his country. superbike champ moving to motogp was a fresh idea in early 00s, when 4 strokes replaced 2 stroke and there was a general thought that superbike riders are more experienced in 4 stroke 1000cc bikes and thus having an advantage. but as we all saw that wasnt the case, let alone in 2007, when a 27 year entered motogp while all great riders start at 20... only man to ever done the switch and won was late nicky hayden, but he switched at 20 yo and he was lucky enough that year while be consisted but never dominant
@tgrules56511 ай бұрын
He just wasn't good enough. On the same bike that Rossi and Lorenzo dominated on he should have been getting consistent top 5s and regular podiums.
