9 years ago I underwent a 32 hour long neurosurgery start to finish I went in confident and came out just as confident to have a fast recovery. There was a doctor who said I was mentally “ unfit “ just with a more derogatory term. Working in a grocery store at the time also frequent customers I knew before and after surgery started treating me differently like I wasn’t a human being anymore ! One day I was Bestbuy and experienced a child say to his parent mom look at this guy , the parent said to her kid “ stay away from that freak “. I came so close to asking for facial reconstructive surgery. It took me 5 years to finally accept myself for who I am , that the people who cared for my well being then , still care now. I spoke with god , I didn’t ask to be forgiven. That if my lungs fail to draw breath so be it , I fully accept my final judgment!
