A big contrast to other series released this year and this plot is so fresh for the BL's genre. Also P'Aof directing this series make sure that this is one of his masterpiece. what i love about Last Twilight is that it truly is a storytelling which really tells something for the viewers to talk about worthy of a conversation/discussion. it's a very smooth flow from scene to scene and matched with beautiful execution of actors. ❤❤❤

TOPHER‼️😭 Believe me when I say that this series is the best 💯 it’s definitely my favorite BL of 2023 overall ❤️ you are in for a wild may I say emotional ride but it’s just beautiful 🥹 I have grown so attached to these characters over the last 6 episodes and I don’t regret it 💗 also thank you so much for mentioning how Mhok sees Day as a person, and doesn’t try to infantilize him because yes like you said, Day’s mother and Night have good intentions but by doing this, they show they don’t trust Day. Like have some faith in him.

Thank you for this. Truly. Because of what I'm going through right now, I relate so much to Day's struggles... but I can't find someone who will watch it with me.... well, thanks to reactors like you, I don't feel so alone in my love for this show. Because it's not really about two dude, or whatever gender anyone else in the show is. It's about, like you said, Day just wanting to still be treated like a normal human being, no matter his abilities and/or disabilities, and Mhok gives him what he needs, and Day ends up loving him forever because of it! And Mhok was entranced from the first moment, you can tell, especially when those elevator doors opened. *sigh* lol. Anyways, my point is, thank you, for giving me someone to watch my favorite shows with. ❤❤❤😊😊😊

I don't know why but everytime when I see Jimmy, I see this particular scene from Bad Buddy when he dropped the curtains and outed Pat & Pran 😂😂 But this aside Last Twilight is the BL of 2023. It has ateast a good story and great acting.

I'm so glad you're reacting to this and I can relive the series I'm obsessed with. I like how rude Day is, he is doing way too much but I kinda get why and also it's funny. Love that Jimmy and Sea get to play such different characters compared to Vice Versa and they're acting their asses off.

I can say with confidence that this series has been great. So far its has given good and accurate representation of the visually impaired/blind community, storyline has been consistant & captivating & well written and character development/depth has been seen more and more as time goes on. As a person who is visually impaired. Every little detail here and there whether it was in the dialogue/scene or just in the acting, it was done brilliantly and felt intentional. Before Last Twilight that came out before the series started to air, they shared how they had made research for the show and the actors had prepared for their roles. What I loved the most is that Sea actually worked one on one in person with a person who is visually impaired in order to prepare for his role. I knew I would be able to relate Day but I wasnt prepared how much Day’s story would hit home for me. Day’s struggle with accepting his disability and what comes with that, adapting to his new life, grieving the person he was/life he had and the person/future he had imagined for himself, having to deal with society where ableism is very much present and people infantilizing/patronizing him ect, learning to navigate this world that was not build for us in mind/environments that arent accommodating and places that arent accessible to people with disabilities. When your condition is something that keeps deteriorating and you can’t do anything to stop it, having to give up things and some of your independence it is difficult to say the least, so I do not blame Day for feeling the way his is at the moment. It effects you physically but the toll it can take or how it can effect your mental health as well is unfortunately sometimes overlooked or forgotten. I would love to see Day get to a point where he has been able to get back his confidence and independence, for him to have accepted his disability & adapted to his life now and advocating for himself but most importantly for him to get to a point that he is happy. Day’s journey is an emotional for me. I love the little details in dialogue/scenes and just in the acting. Getting to see the pov from different sides was interesting to me like Day’s, Day’s family, Mhok ect. Seeing Day learning things and how Mhok was learning as well. Both of them understanding each other and respecting/treating each other like human being/regular people. That seems to be important to both of them at least if we go by what Mhok said about how despite him not having the ankle monitor people are still being able to see it and people not giving him a chance & with Day people only seeing his disability and not treating him like a human being ect. My favourite scenes have to be MhokDay interview scene and elevator scene, NightDay fight and the little prince scene. I hope this series continues to give good and accurate representation of people with a disability/disabilities and MhokDay as an interabled couple which hasnt as far as I know been seen much in a BL series before. I hope we get to see also how MhokDay develops from caregiver/client relationship to a to romantic relationship cause there is a difference there though.

When they were interviewing those who had applied for the caregiver role. I cannot be the only one who felt exactly like Day. Day was not having any of it. I love his personality, him being sassy and using sarcasm ect. His family members always turning to him when ever he made the smallest noise ect👀 And when Day just said to end the interviews and implied how he felt like puking… I was like.. Sir I feel the same cause I feel like i’m going to have a headache if I’ll see one more person who applied to be a caregiver but is not fit to be one😂 Personally I disliked all of the people who had applied for the caregiver role. 1) He implied by the way he talked that Day must be a burden. 2) He was treating Day like a project, like Day wasnt a part of society and that Day doesnt contribute to society. And Sir what do you mean you wanna trust him? Also him saying all that he said and talking straight to the mother instead of Day, he wasnt treating Day as a ”normal” person even though that is how he claimed he wanted others to see Day. 3) He straight up just greeted and talk to the mother, do I need to say more. 4) He wasnt treating Day like a human being. He felt like he was doing this good deed and there for making his life somehow more meaningful. Also it felt like he was pitying Day and seeing him as less than. All of the people who has applied for the role of a caregiver didnt talk straight to Day or acknowledge Day really ect, all of them were not fit for the role of a caregiver to but it simply. I hope people wouldnt do any of those things these people just did in interviews.

A heartbreaking scene was between Night and Day in the car. Day blowing up at Night most likely partly at least cause he is grieving who he was and life had ect, and he maybe feeling like he lost everything. As a result he ends up taking it out on his brother Night. We can see him going through all kinds of emotions sadness, anger, resentment ect. Night saying; ”Do you think its easy for me to take care of you?” It must have made Day feel like he is burden or even more then he already might have been feeling like he was. I can say from personal experience that I have felt like a burden or inconvenience at times for different reasons but I think that at least partly many people who have a disability/disabilities wouldnt feel that way at all or would feel less that way if society was fully accessible and inclusive. Day struggling to accept and adapt to him being visually impared, what comes with that and his new life. And then Night throwing that statement about the cornea transplant at Day and saying the following. ”When will you get it exactly? The doctor told me you might not get it in 10 years.” ”Do you realize now? No matter how much you hate me, you’re going to have got rely on me.” Night saying all things that he knows will hurt Day most likely out of frustration and possibly cause of caregiver fatigue ect. What made it more heartbreaking was the fact that Day most likely didnt know what the doctor had said, and because it seems that the cornea transplant was the one thing, the only hope Day saw and was holding on to and the fact that it seems he believes he will for sure be able to see again which further more just emphasizes how Day hasnt accepted even the possibility that he cannot see in the future ect. Day stating; ”Damn it! Even though i’m dying, don’t help me.” Just an other statement talking about/regarding death, which shows us a bit of his mental state ect. Everything that was said between Night and Day, made Day feel even worse then he already was feeling, made him feel like a burden and like there isnt a light at the end of the tunnel at all. I do want to know more of Night’s and Day’s past cause could it be that Night possible had something to do with the car accident Day had been in? Or maybe they had been on bad terms already before the accident? Many things could be true, can’t wait to find out.

I do have to say though that the way his family and other people are treating him, isnt really helping Day to adapt to being visually impaired/blind and his life now. I can see and understand Day’s family’s pov as well of course especially because when a person becomes visually impaired/blind, there is a learning & adapting period for the people around them as well and of course there are things that they don’t know or mistakes that are made a long the way ect. I think that they do care but I do see them being overprotective, limiting Day from doing things or even trying to do things himself, not trusting him to make decisions for himself, helping him without even asking if he needs it or offering him help and by doing so not respecting him ect. Of course there a times when he needs help but not all the time and with everything. Day doesnt want pity or to be helped all the time, being treated like his less capable or that he cannot be trusted to make decisions for himself and more than anything else he doesnt need people patronizing him or infantilizing him. Day needs someone to treat him like a human being, a regular person ect. Someone who sees him Day and not just the disability cause that is not all of him. Mhok making his entrance the way he did to the interview and speaking to Day the way he did… made an impression on Day. One of the reasons may be the fact that Mhok adressed Day right from the start instead of talking to his mother or brother ect. Mhok raw, honest and straightforward. He saw that Day is capable and he doesnt have to be careful around him. He wasnt treating Day like he was broken/fragile or pitying him. Most importantly Mhok WASNT patronizing/infantilizing a person like Day who is visually impaired/ a person with a disability. Mhok was treating him like everyone else.

The little prince scene was beautiful. Mhok as the fox and Day the little prince. The portrayal was wonderful. The scene was a beautiful but natural way of mirroring the start of MhokDay’s relationship. I also like the changes that had been made to the scene, It felt more like a intimate moment between the two, both felt understood and seen. The moment were Mhok asked Day to come and get his card from him by himself. To me it felt like the way Mhok was talking to Day, he was telling Day ”I see/consider you as a regular person just like me”. While Day was telling Mhok ”I’ll give you a chance like everyone else/like no one else has”. It was like both were telling each other that both of them have to have courage to give each other and themselves a chance.
