This is how unique P'Aof direction is, he brings out these emotions with his art. He is bringing out the best of Jimmy(Mhok) and Day(Sea) when it comes to their acting skills. His style of direction is making us emotional with beautiful and moving scenes. This series is written masterfully and this is what I want from a show specially that most of the series lately almost have the same setting and plot. We need something new and unique in the BL genre like this series. Wonderful reaction Topher, thank you for making me feel the feels from this series again.

I love rewatching this series with you ! This is an AMAZING show man ! I love it so much ! Every ep gets better and I'm not even exaggerating ! Ep 3 is one of my favs so far, so I'm excited ! And yeah , prepare yourself ! Every damn episode this show will make you emotional - happy tears or sad tears , doesn't matter, one is bound to get emotional ! Every damn episode so far has been like that 😭 edit : had to get this out there ! When you said at the end, how you like that this is a genuine emotional connection at this stage and not physical attractiveness etc., took me back to 'Vice Versa' JimmySea's debut show as leads and got me emotional ! Damn I miss Vice Versa !! :*(

Oh Topher... I'm on episode 6 and good lord brace for the roller coaster ride of emotions on this one... I mean the director is P'Aof so are we really surprised? I expect nothing less from the man who gave us A Tale Of A Thousand Stars, Bad Buddy, and Moonlight Chicken.

'Last Twilight'........'Pit Babe' and 'The Sign' are my favourite shows at the moment. This show explores show much emotion, with both Mhok and Day going through their own problems, and being on the edge of society through no fault of their own. Mhok is finding himself through helping Day, and probably the only person who is trying to help Day stand on his own two feet, and actively push him into being more independent while at the same time being supportive. Pit Babe and The Sign are really interesting concepts, and a little like this one, are very different to most BL dramas...........the chemistry of the cast are great and the standard of filming is great in all 3 shows.

we love the same 3 shows, they are very ifferent and well acted and videographed honestly. Those 3 plus "I feel you linger in the air" and "Moonlight chicken" are definitely my favorite shows of this year for how different they are and well-written

@@Tanlawless I assume you are watching Last Twilight already. PitBabe - the chemistry of the actors is great, and the acting is good to. As for the plot. its well paced, and well written. There are a few nods to the source material being something called an 'Omegaverse' but nothing that will take anyones pleasure away from the story if you don't like that or know what that is. The sign - thats a mixture of nearly every genre you can think of, but all nicely blended together. The cast are good and the chemistry of the leads is great. It's mainly and action/crime/romance/ fantasy........but you never get bored with the way the plot goes in either show.

first off: LOVE this cardigan, it looks super cute on you! ❤ honestly, "aggressively trying to get at your feelings" could be the tagline for this show! every goddamn episode lol i really enjoy how many quiet moments there are, like mhok just walking around looking at day's room, or day lying in bed the day after mhok's gone. and the acting is amazing all around, like topher said! both actors are doing such a great job. all the emotion in their eyes!!! 😭😭😭 thank you for reacting to this, i'm really enjoying rewatching it with you ❤❤❤

This episode was brilliant and here is why; These are my thoughts/opinions as a visually impaired person. We got to see even more in-depth into Day’s and Mhok’s characters. To whom may not know that home is actually the more common place for visually impaired/blind people to injure themselves then the outside world. Home is where we often times are able to rely on our remaining sight, auditory&tactile cues in our surroundings for orientation/travel or our other senses, its why we are usually less careful unlike in unfamiliar places. In this episode that was shown through Day’s experiences with mishaps/injuring himself being mentioned and by having a scene which portrayed it was a nice. Day’s struggles in everyday tasks like finding/losing things, reading, using a computer ect was good details to the show. And also Day still trying his best to use his vision to see despite it being difficult which also showcased how Day still seems to be at an early stage of his journey because he hasnt come to terms with his disability and everything that come with that. And there for him being more likely to refuse using different aids or even deny his need for them ect even if he would benefit from using them. The same goes for asking and accepting help from others. His fears of how people look, see and think of him may play a big part in this as well, cause using an aid makes his disability more visible to others/himself. I hope to see as the series goes on Day possibly to start using a white cane or learning to read braille. However I really liked that we got to see how visually impaired/blind people use their phones with accessibility features like VoiceOver, the use of mobility tools being used like white cane ect, these details may seem small but these are important part of giving a good/accurate representation of visually impaired/blind peoples lifes. We got to see more of Day’s mental state as well which is important having low vision or being visually impaired/blind can make you feel alone and isolated. Mental and emotional well-being is often also effected with depression for example being common in people with vision loss. And when you have a condition in which your vision is deteriorating over time that can make people fear the future, lose confidence and worry about losing capabilities and independence and more. Day’s mental health seems to have been effected which of course is understandable. As his going through adapting and grieving its normal to experience sadness if not depression as well. Most apparent intense emotions that we got to see from Day is his anxiety ect which seems to be an constant emotion for Day. Day’s support system being shown more was all I could have asked for. Family members be your support system is important but having people outside of your family to talk to is just as important. I loved how we got to know Aon, who is counselor for people losing their vision and also Day’s friend. Aon seemed like a funny, positive but mature person who truly cares for Day. Aon is someone who can understands Day on personal level and more then anyone else around Day, he is also someone Day can feel comfortable being around with his disability. Having someone who can tell you how they deal with everyday challenges, reassure you that you’re not the only one going through this.. That kind of validation and support can actually help overcome the feelings of isolation and alienation that some may experience. Day’s fears are valid. Things/places and experiences that once were familiar now feel somwhat foreign. Facing people who you are familiar with and strangers may cause anxiety especially if you have not met them after becoming visually impaired/blind for many reasons, for example you may fear your communication being effected by not being able to pick up on visual cues like you used to ect. Consider the visual clues that we look for during a conversation: Facial cues: which indicate mood or emotion, hand gestures: which can indicate size or direction, turn-taking cues including raised eyebrows and feedback such as head nodding ect. These types of non-verbal messages may be lost/can lead to misunderstandings for visually impaired/blind people which than can be prone to misinterpretation. There for Day’s fear of how people will look at him/him not being able to see how people see or think of him & him feeling uncomfortable in social situations/interactions because of not wanting to be seen/treated like an abnormal person, seen as socially awkward or less intelligent ect are all very normal. Also just think of not being able to see if someone rolls their eyes at you or even more so not able see non-verbal facial expressions that usually signal you if someone is possibly a danger to you ect… thats scary and would make anyone anxious. Day becoming extremely anxious/having a possible anxiety attack after having a mishaps in front of the guest at their house is something that sighted people might not understand unless they are aware that those kinds of things tend to be perceived by sighted individuals as the inability of the visually impaired to perform tasks ect even though being blind/having low vision does not indicate the intelligence of the individual.

Mhok is always straightforward, unfiltered, honest but also caring ect and he doesnt let peoples opinion or distrust of Day’s mother effect himself or stop him from working. Mhok makes Day feel comfortable, he treats/cares for Day like everyone else but also helps him when its needed/when Day is okay with it. He sees Day for Day and not just his disability but also doesnt ignore Day being visually imapired. He shows that he respects Day by first offering help/asking if Day needs help aka he isnt overhelping or limiting/restricting Day from doing/trying to do things on his own which is vital part of Day adjusting to his life now. He also gives Day time to do things at his own pace which is important. By Mhok doing what was mentioned before; he is helping Day to feel like himself again, to gain his confidence and independence back, for Day to not just know that he is capable but to feel it as well. Mhok listens to Day and him is willing to learn. Him being consistant in the way he is treating Day and verbally saying things like ”You must help me” and ”your hands are available” is nice to see cause it is creating a positive atmosphere for Day to explore more. Mhok trusts Day and sees that he is capable of making decisions for himself like everyone else and that signals to Day that he doesnt have to worry about Mhok doubting him, his choices or judgement ect. He also shows his interest in Day by contantly looking/observing Day not out of pity or cause he sees Day as abnormal but because he is curious/interested in Day as person, Day’s world and life. Good example of this is Mhok observing Day’s room, I love how it was filmed. We were shown how he was paying attention to little detail to get some more insight in to Day like his interests ect and those little details like him noticing the plans that seemed to have not been taken care off, books that were on the table, the fish tank ect. Mhok cleaning/organizing Day’s room with good intention but in doing so him having made the bedroom confusing for Day, this is an insightful learning point for Mhok. Day’s room did look bit messy/cluttered and after Mhok cleaned it, it was tidy/less cluttered which is a good thing. However what Mhok didnt know is that he should have talk to Day first before cleaning his room because Day most likely had developed a system of organization in his bedroom that he understands by which he knows where things are ect and that also allows him to learn to/function without aid there. Mhok remembering little details about Day, what he likes or dislikes, Day not liking the smell of cigarettes after Day had pointed it out to him and just for Mhok to remove his shirt to avoid having Day smell the cigarettes again. Mhok also does things unintentionally like avoiding sitting right directly in front of bright windows cause that can make visually impaired/blind people to not be able to see your face cause of the ”backlighting” ect. Him wanting to learn and understand Day. Showing that by seeking out help/insight from Aon and blindfolding himself ect in order to get even an idea of how Day feels. I must say though the one things that stood out to me was him being able and not being afraid to admit that he doesnt/cannot fully understand Day which is different from everyone else around Day who have only said empty words about them being able to understand while not even making the effort to do so. I also appreciate how Mhok’s trauma regarding his sister was shown in this episode/early on in series and rather then it being forgotten & never addressed again to it actually being shown in this episode is a good change. However I think a trigger warning would be a good idea.

The development was seen with Mhok’s character learning about being a caregiver for a visually impaired/blind person, trying his best to understand Day and just bonding with him in different ways ect. With Day we got to see him slowly starting to open up/showing his vulnerable side. Him taking steps forwards by going outside of his house, asking&accepting help and trying to do/experience things he had enjoyed before vision loss ect is just showcasing how adjustment takes time. This is just something I noticed. Mhok has a habit of talking to Day like everyone else which is a good thing most of the time but I think it would be nice to see him start to use descriptive speech more when ever its needed cause saying things like ”it over here” ect can be hard to visually impaired/blind people to pick up on ect. Scene that stuck out for me were Mhok getting stuck between Day and Aon when they are too busy greeting each other, Aon and Day spending time together, Day going outside of comfort zone in order to see/meet Mhok, Mhok doing his best to learn and understand Day and us getting to see their first time one palm distance moment and Mhok promising Day no more loneliness. Last but not least Day’s breakdown scene in his bedroom. Day’s bedroom scene from the acting, dialogue and little details like having the mirror in the scene, all that made the scene so emotional. With Mhok and Day, I would like to see Mhok start to open up to Day more cause at the moment the fact that he knows more about Day then the other way around, is something that can make their relationship a little bit unbalanced. I think it would build their bond and gratually make their relationship progress in a good way. I hope to see more of Aon’s and Day’s friendship. Also I want to know more of Night relationship with Day because its seems as though he possibly had hidden/been lying about Day’s disability to his friends whether it was out of his on choice or that Day was aware of it. In regards to Day’s parents, Day’s mothers reaction to Mhok asking about Day’s father, that just raised some question marks for me.
