So much TO DO! painting, bees, goose, construction! and some beautiful Autumn Candles in the SHOP!

I love this time of year when the weather can be glorious and there is so much GROWTH everywhere! I took advantage of a beautiful sunny day to cross many thing's off my 'TO-DO' list and though I was really tired at the end of it all I had a great sense of accomplishment!
I still have a few more coats of the blackboard paint to do until the board is finished, I still have a lot of pressure washing to do, there is a never ending list of things to try and achieve, but I'll tackle them one at a time!

I always wished, when I painted walls or chalkboard, that I had used magnetic paint under the chalk paint.

Hello Kate. When I was growing up my Dad made me a chalk board on the kitchen door, and gave me an old biscuit tine full of lovely coloured chalks. Hours of endless pleasure, not just by me, but the whole family used to leave a drawing. Happy days.

I kept thinking while watching you wrestle a bit with that piece of wood for the chalk board that if you attached a cupboard handle (or 2) to the side of the plywood that it would be much more manageable. Just a thought.

I have done 2 blackboards in two different houses on the back of doors. I made one for my daughters when they were young. I made one for me on my pantry door. It really comes in handy.

Nothing like fresh honey. My grandfather use to farm with bees and we always helped mum to strain the honey through a cloth❤❤
