The Reverend wasn't no Porky but he was still a worthy foe. Him and Porky should've teamed up for the final showdown with the Angel Beach Boys.
@sha112356 жыл бұрын
I think the reason Porky wasn't in this one was they were continuing the adventures of the Angel Beach gang, which had sort of vanquished Porky in the first one.

sha: Yeah, he was left broke after his club had been destroyed but invested in getting that awesome boat. I still thought the Reverend was a good enough foe. Imagine him and Reverend Flavel being in on illegally fixing the games. With them as "allies" the audience has to wonder how Tommy, Meat, PeeWee and the others were gonna win with the odds stacked against them so. Seeing the boys giving both of those cretins their final comeuppance would have been the perfect way to end the trilogy.
@sha112356 жыл бұрын
The third film didn't have the same people behind the scenes. Different writers and directors. Also, not all the characters came back. I think they just decided to do it to have some sort of an ending to these students. Personally, it really wasn't necessary.

This reminds me of so many "Religious" Cult Leaders. They get the people to support them, and the masses (Their group) follow them blindly, as their leaders quote from any sources that they can...& have people keep following them, as if they were preaching the Gospel to them! Sooner or later, though, it all ends up falling apart, and the followers become disillusioned, and end up walking away from the Liar that they followed.

I uploaded this years ago. Glad to see it's still around because this is funny as hell. Florida is SO much different now than it was back in the 50's. I believe Porky's was set during the 1950's in Ocala / Miami Dade Florida or somewhere like that. Long before the Cocaine Wars of the 80's and the rebirth of Miami Beach. That Coke money bought allot of real-estate or whatever spell check sucks balls!

WedgePee Look at the cars in the third movie: Tommy Turner drives a 1957 Chevy convertible, Meat drives a 1957 Ford Fairlane and Blossom's Corvette is a 1959 model. Since the cast are in high school in all 3 movies it leads me to believe that all 3 were set in the late 50's not the mid 50's.
