You're going to love the entire Blurryface album of Twenty One Pilots. It's all about insecurities, self-image, and mental health. TOP's songs are always filled with emotions, stories, and passion especially with Tyler's lyricism and how he delivers each and every line. You'll find memorable lines like "Thank God it's Friday because Sundays are my suicide days" or "sometimes quiet is violent" or "I was told when I get older, all my fears would shrink, but now I'm insecure and I care what people think" and "death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit".

Perhaps the word you were looking for is vulnerable? Tyler puts all of his emotions out there. It leaves him really vulnerable, but i, as a listener, then embrace that and it warms my heart.

the recorded version is soft, sorrowful and almost naked. this live version is full of power and emotion. Not as sad, but still very moving.

The whole arcane playlist is incredible, i’ve been listening to both seasons playlists on repeat the past few weeks. The lyrics hit a lot harder when they are specifically designed for the series and very relatable at the same time.
@Dan1337_UKКүн бұрын
Notice Tyler not only maintains eye contact from the beginning but also his expression never goes beyond emptiness or expressionless, as this is not meant to be a fun, entertaining or happy performance at all. The themes are that of sadness, regret, fear and disappointment throughout both the song and the episode/scene. And on this live performance his expression is quite intentionally and so accurately imitating Viktors. I.E The characters own thoughts and feelings this song is written for and based on. Furthermore you can see and feel the pain and several other emotions in the specific lines he's performing - which at first glance might you might think this is simply the strain and effort required to hit these high notes. But no, he can hit some of them effortlessly and he does so at the very beginning and when appropriate. But as the song and his impending fate progresses, not only does the pitch go up and and down so deliberately and appropriately. Based precisely on the intended meaning and emotion that accompanies each line. Having seen this countless times now, he is using the songs themes, Viktors many combined yet negative feelings in the episodes scene. Combined with so much raw emotion which could only be derived from his Grandmothers passing. Such that if you just watch his expression, you can both see and hear that he is performing each line quite intentionally to appear so painfully regretful, sadness etc etc to even sing the very words themselves. What makes this song and performance even more tragic and impactful is that we know, and at least I personally can see that he doesn't even have to act/perform very much at all - it is very real to him, and if he smiled at all, even at its conclusion then it would ruin the deep purpose and meaning. I do not think this live "performance", by every definition of the word could possibly be so thoroughly impactful and emotive without clearly being able to utilise the pain, emotion and loss - all whilst somehow also keeping his composure and professionalism. That must be a very fine line to maintain. He used his heart and soul to both create and perform this. Perhaps only the love and positive memories are what allows him to tap so deeply into the sadness and loss. Not to mention in a live/recorded performance and not in the studio, but with a full orchestra and so many present at the awards depending on it. Without doing so, any other equally talented vocalist could have performed this yet without the real and raw emotion that makes this truly magical. Which resonates with both the character as intended, himself due to his loss, the viewers of the show and seemingly to all and every one of us, whether we have even watched Arcane or not.

Stuart, seeing the joy on your face was beautiful, your wide smile and open expressiveness. I adore this live versions of the line. The orchestration with Tyler’s voice riding above so emotionally delicate and heartfelt. Josh’s drums doing exactly what they should, with minimum drum kit; and the scenes from Arcane in the background adding to the overall imagery. Everyone talks about the Scream, which for me was delivered with passion and resonance, which isn’t easy to pitch so it has that kind of impact over and above all the instruments that are playing behind him. This track has been living rent free in my head everyday since it came out, because there is something about it that just speaks deeply to me.

The song was also inspired by the passing of his grandmother while he was in the room with her. The lyrics are through her eyes (but obviously fit with the show as well). I think it just really adds to the live performance knowing that and from the orchestra to his scream, its beautiful.

@Dan1337_UKКүн бұрын
@@TherapistReactsOfficial I would not worry about spoilers ruining the show. Arcane is unlike anything else, not only does it follow I don't know over 10+ main characters, and many less prominent so comprehensively and all intertwined. But in this vastest of animated fantasy universes the plots and story/character arcs of all of them are incredibly so complex, with much subtext. This is not Game of Thrones level It is impossible to simply guess or give much away without writing an essay. The way they implement all the purposely written and such well chosen songs/artists is absolute perfection. The good thing about fantasy/magical animated universes like in Arcane is that there are no limits on the ideas and themes you can cover, that are both unique and none of us could experience in our every day lives, not even in multiple lifetimes in our reality. Yet still, I watched all of the show 1st season multiples times and it wasn't until I watched your first reaction video that I really could resonate with this song, have to often cut out sections of the full soundtracks. But I had not seen the music video at all, I saw your reaction to it first. And what resonated with me more, was not that I happened to be a demi-god/Wizard facing death, arguably undeserved and his regrets and actions make the scene and song so much more tragic as they were unforeseeable and unintentional. Even this doesn't even begin to describe or spoil even a fraction of that character/plot. I wouldn't worry too much about your perceived "quality" or performance in your reactions as a KZbinr, and it's ironic that of all the characters, you are most like Viktor the one you were unknowingly analysing. I'm not a therapist, though my psychoanalysis skills are definitely above average just from being highly sociable and extroverted. But that is exactly why the song alone influenced and resonated with you so much, and myself and many others alike. I also enjoyed watching just 20 mins or so of you for the first time in original reaction video. It doesn't take a genius to see you're a very caring and good human being, who's possibly a great therapist . Generally I would say 40K subs is already a great achievement and not to worry too much about audience expectations. But if I were pretended to be a therapist I might say that somewhat like your two sides of a coin analogy. That ones caring, compassionate and modest nature also means we inevitably doubt ourselves, sometimes just a little more than necessary, and sometimes need reminding of our accomplishments. Pro Tip: Viewers watch your videos and sub to your channel because of your authenticity and personality, equally or possibly more than just the professional analysis on its own. If you had hidden or entirely removed your full and emotional reaction, it would not have resonated with others or been so well received, trust me. I actually searched for more "therapist reactions" of the song after yours, and I only found one other American - he was good also but paused too much, at the wrong time and less emotion and analysis. And I found no others, regular (typically young adults) KZbinr/Gamer reactions are really not interesting or informative in any way, but it's a highly complex show. But the good news is and as as you'll find out, the ultimate message of Arcane throughout and especially at its conclusion, is indisputably that of humanity itself. Almost none of the characters are black/white, even if they appear so at first. And for sheer "feelings" and emotions it is by far many times more powerful than any TV or Movie that exists currently in terms of its broad and rich messaging and ideas we can all relate to, covering every aspect of humanity. I could not recommend a better TV Series, or any media content of any kind for someone like yourself to react to. You will get many, many subs by the end - Though I advise you release your full episode reactions publically, even if it is weeks after Patreons/Members get much earlier access. Especially so soon after it's conclusion. You will 100% both entice and gain many, many more subs and views using this model - compared to not realising them to non members/Patrons at all. Best of luck
@Wesed352 күн бұрын
This might be a hot take but I prefer the official version to the live version of most music. I figure that the proper edited version is like the purest version of the musical vision, you know? There's a certain artistry to live music but it's never perfect
@TherapistReactsOfficial2 күн бұрын
Yeah I think it try to say that with this one. The stripped back version where my attention is purely on the lyrics and and all the details in the voice, maybe got my eyes closed - it just does something to me that the live version doesn’t.
