I would like if they added added kind of a "story mode" including the F1 2008 season. The Motogp game made something like that with their 2009 season, where you could recreate the most memorable moments of that season, playing as different drivers in different moments. Also, all of the tracks and drivers (with special liveries) of 2009 were included for the single player. If F1 did something like that for the 2008 season (or 2007), that would be awesome, especially as there is no official F1 game for these years and there are so many memorable moments. But for that, you actually need the intention to make a good game and not some cash grab.

I think that liveries should have the ability to change dynamically in career/my team seasons, but using either the fake sponsors to add/swap with existing sponsors or full livery swaps of years gone by for teams that have them. I think the contracts system could be more like the football genre, I don't think a mid-season swap is better, but the option to talk and swap throughout the season, kind of like Piastri technically did. I think the amount of driver swaps per season should have a low/med/high option at the start of each season. The rest of the video I will second.

I always wanted regulaton changes to have an effect on car's handling and characteristics. Example if you get aero changes cars can have different down force, dirty air, slipstreaming or DRS effect. Or on engine you can rich mix back or ERS changes.

What I wouldn't give for a fully fleshed out career mode. You should be able to work your way up from F3 to F1. I think it would be great if they had scenarios where if you are a certain teams academy driver, you can take part in certain practice sessions etc for the F1 team, or if a driver has an illness (Like Sainz) or is dropped mid season (Sergeant and Danny Ric) you can be called up for a race or 2 as a way to improve your prestige and catch the attention of better teams on your way up through the different categories. I definitely think media interviews should come back but actually done properly, with a greater range of questions etc and an after race interview with the Top 3. Not on the career side of things but I think they should definitely look at doing a mode similar to the Era's MyNBA mode that 2K do. Be able to do 5-10 seasons on a specific era of F1 and kind of rewrite history. You could even have it let you do more season than that and go from era to era with the results etc carrying over. Borrowing from 2K again, make a mode like the Jordan Challenge where you got to play different important games throughout his whole career. You could definitely do this with specific races for drivers like Senna, Schumacher, Vettel, Stewart, Hunt, Lauda, Mansell. The list goes on!

I don't agree with having a team editor in the next game, but maybe a mix of better AI contract management with an option to make transfers realistic, strict or loose (I believe those are the options in EA FC) and allow the ability for teams to poach other drivers and buyout contracts (could be added into the AI Contract Management portion) and I think we'd be good to go.
