@@KJ-Castro well, to be fair, it can speed tie calyrex shadow rider after a single turn, and can then go on to speed tie regieleki, essentially if it survives even one turn it can reach a speed where it can threaten the most powerful pokemon, and I mean both of them(zacian crowned also gets speed tied and has a weakness to fire), and then it can speed tie the fastest pokemon and murder it with something like scorching sands.

Mega Blaziken. The scariest Fire type Mega you can be against. Yes Megas Charizard X, Y, and Camerupt are terrifying but Blaziken brings so much. On top of nightmarishly high attack and special attack, slight defense boosts, and good speed, they had to give the chicken debatable the best ability for an attacking Pokemon in Speed Boost. I never understood how raw and strong Blaziken was as a Mega, even with three of my best friends picking Blaziken in their Omega Ruby as their starters, while I with Alpha Sapphire picked Bubbles my Swampert wielded the power of rain. Even in battles where people used Mega Blaziken I managed to be lucky with them not expecting my team of Pokemon good against the chicken. That is until I got an egg from my best friend who also had a Blaziken, who was busy breeding some perfect natured and IV fueled Torchic for his competitive team, and he wound up with a few too many eggs. And I hatched my own Blaziken, Chick. And she... Let's say shown me why Blaziken is considered one of the greatest starters ever made. Never in my life did I expect a Fire type to be so graceful and so impactful, and this is coming from someone who has Reshiram as a favorite Pokemon. Chick ripped holes into things you would never expect Blaziken to hurt such as Spiritomb, Deoxys Defense, Blastoise, and somehow a stray Primal Kyogre, and this is surprising because she doesn't even run any stat boosting moves. Last I remember she has Blaze Kick, Flamethrower, High Jump Kick, and Brave Bird. I honestly hope and dread ZA, if Blaziken gets Mega again. I hope so because I wish to journey with Chick again, this time in the Switch. I dread so because everyone else will abuse it's strength. Also my grandpa has a certain chicken seasoning he uses while grilling that reminds me of Blaziken. It is known as "Kickin Chicken." So hot in high doses it makes you sweat through your eyeballs. Funny.

Ye, I still have Chick, she's sleeping in my Alpha Sapphire. I admittedly haven't played my 3DS era Pokemon games in some time like a few months. Haven't been able to bring her and the rest of my buddies from the older games to the Switch era since I keep forgetting to upgrade my Home which allows my Bank to transfer Pokemon in.

Make sure to upgrade Pokemon Home at some point so you can continue your journey with her, especially with Legends Z-A making her able to mega evolve again. It might even remind you of all the good times you had with her. I sent over all my favorite Pokemon from Pokemon X, Omega Ruby, Sun and Ultra Sun including my blaziken that I started my journey with in Omega Ruby. I even won a cool contest with him where he got the Coolness Master Ribbon so whenever I send him out in battle it says something like "Go blaziken the former star". I currently have him in Pokemon Violet. One thing to note is that once you send over your blaziken into the newer games she won't be able to use sky uppercut anymore.

Chick has ribbons from contests as well! I believe Coolness and Toughness. I'm conflicted if I want to use her Mega though, as I intend on bringing Bubbles with me as well and he was my main Mega. It's a big dilemma. Do I want to mainly use my prodigy Chick with her graceful strikes surrounded by swathes of heat haze, or my buddy Bubbles with his brutelike muscular impacts shaking the earth and seas? Or should I begin a new journey with a Sceptile I have in Black 2 I adopted from an old Pearl profile before I reset it? I never had a Sceptile of my own that I truly bonded with. Hopefully I could rename him, he had no name, I would call my adopted son Canopy.

​@kosakukawajiri5007 All 3 options sounds great, you could just use and mega evolve them depending on the scenario. Also, you should try and give bubbles the toughness ribbon so it would say "bubbles the once formerly buff" when sent out into battle. It would be a very fitting title considering Swampert gets buff when mega evolve and reverts to normal after battle, that's what I did with my Swampert before sending it into home.

What's stopping the foe from slaughtering this chicken with cold mega beedrill, mega scep, mega aero, mega alakazam. (i.e. 145+ speed boost nature) before that second boost? Adamant mega blaziken would be fine outspeeding Pheromosa after 1 boost; a Jolly vanilla blaziken would get slaughtered by cold mega aero, mega scep, mega beedrill, mega alakazam before those 2 turns are up and these guys aren't rare. Since these other fast folks are also glass cannons and likely will be OHKO'd by a STAB move regardless of nature, it would be wiser to just play it safe and make sure it moves before these glass cannon rivals do. ***Again, applies to lvl 100; these common 145ers aren't going to be a problem at lvl 50
