Lattimore on the Saints makes sense at CB. Affordable 1.2 mil due this year and likely only a 3rd round to the Saints.

“Only” a 3rd round pick for less than a 1 year rental is bad value, he’s due 16 million in base salary the upcoming 2 years, and this draft is way too good to sacrifice a 3rd rounder

@@3rdandForever868 It's not bad value if the short-term goal is to do something historic. It also doesn't hurt long-term, because it is just a single-season rental. Second, who at the bottom of the third is going to be as good as Lattimore if KC does decide to extend it beyond 2024? Yes, it will cause some salary juggling for 2025 and beyond, but those monetary gymnastics is something the KC front office has done well.

@@csb78nm Sneed’s contract would’ve costed less, and they still traded him, now you expect them to trade for a more expensive/older CB ? And the only reason we’re looking at a 3 peat in the first place is because Veach doesn’t trade away early round draft capital, last time he did, it was for Orlando Brown, never since.

They had to rework Taylor because the Chiefs were in negative cap space after getting Hopkins. Now they are back to 5M, way too much speculation about moves, maybe a DB to cover for Watson but they brought up one already. Only bringing in a DE if Dana doesn’t get better. Omenihu went down in the AFC CG so he should be up by sometime in NOVEMBER to early DEC at the latest. Primarily the extra space is to account for necessary moves if we suffer more injuries is my ultimate guess.

I like your '4 touchdowns' but I don't think they'll have 4 'passing' TD's. The way I see it, KC's defense will hold them to less than 16. Chiefs will take an early lead and run the ball, and take what the defense gives them. They'll take a couple shots each half as the opportunities are presented. I think the final score is around 36-15. But I don't foresee 4 passing TD's.

If they can’t get a cheap decent DB they should double down on WR and get Hunter Remfrow. No chance he wouldn’t be down. 5 years as a raider losing to Mahomes, nobody signing him in the offseason the chance to go get a ring? And he’s just 2 years removed from a 100 catch 1k yard season with Derek Carr. Would be a super solid pick up. Plus with the royals adding Hunter Renfroe to he baseball player this year and having their most successful season in a decade clearly they stars say “KC teams should sign Hunter Renfro types”

Well the last Raiders game ignited a big turn around for the Chiefs so I hope this time again it will result in a big turnaround for the Chiefs offence.
