The problem is to much social media which results in vanity. Ideal images that are not real. Getting older is a privilege. You wouldn't get implants if you didn't care about your appearance to a certain degree. I bet Sam loves you just as much with or without hair. So that's not real honesty to me.

You won’t regret it. I had this exact procedure done in 2018 for a very similar hairline. I am the same age as you. My hair now looks great and you absolutely cannot tell I had the procedure done. I’ve told hairdressers that I had it done and they were blown away because they would never have known. The follicle transfer is the way to go, not the strip that leaves a scar.

Rosemary oil applied twice a day and Saw Palmetto are great for hair loss. Natural remedies like these tend to never work or, if they do, they work minimally in solving the issue. However, in regards to hair loss, saw palmetto will prevent hair loss as it works in the same manner that finasteride does, and rosemary oil works similarly to Minoxidil. Saw Palmetto does have potential side effects though, so 'ease onto' it (like take it once a week fist. Then twice a week the following week. Then 3 times a week next week and so forth). The side effects are permanent loss of libido, hence why you want to take the extra precautions.

To people rambling about finasteride - Taking anti androgens to lower them in the whole body? Sorry he is not a trans woman to do so. Androgens should be lowered only locally in skin's head, for anyone who cares about being a man. DHT and androgen receptors are super useful for muscle growth, facial hairs and androgenic sexual health. What would be enough is to just stop taking the gear for a few months. As he mentioned taking it. It would easily ruin his results. Also taking gear and finasteride at the same time is a recipe for some serious disaster (essentially finasteride working against the effect of gear and gear working against the effects of finasteride). So use your brains people instead of giving such ideas.

It's funny because when women get breast implants or people get cosmetic surgery barely anyone bats an eye. People who are balding people refuse to accept that maybe they want to keep a full head of hair. I'm fortunate to have the genetics that will most likely keep my hair full for most of my life, I'm not going to hate on anyone who wants the same. Do whatever you want with your body, the only person who's opinion you should even consider is your partner if you have one.

beyond the business of looks anything someone can do to increase their confidence if only for themselves should 100% be accepted. self confidence is admirable and only hypocrites would talk down on men that are improving for themselves. if someone were making the argument about health issues ex. steroids extensive plastic surgery etc that would be entirely different

Rosemary oil applied twice a day and Saw Palmetto.

Been watching for a long time man. It's been good to see you settle in to yourself slowly over the past few years in particular. As a 28 yr old who's been active duty for the last 9 years and change, our lives are about as different as you could imagine. But sometimes, more and more often the past few years, I feel like we see a bit deeper into how you're doing. The glimpses have been more peaceful and good bit happier. Here's to you from my deployment, glad to see you doing well.

But when you are down find the right people to talk to, like a counselor or therapist. Some things you dont want to say around your wife or coworkers. So be tactful but definitely use those paid avenues to find help. I recently cut my hair off for similar reasons. It didn't look as good as in my late teens / early 20s. I was sad because I loved long hair (down to my chest as a guy) but your comments rang true for me: I definitely did enjoy it while I had it for many years. There's something liberating about coming to terms with hair loss too. If anything, a respite from the constant worrying about losing it. It's a crappy way to live and don't even get to enjoy what hair does remain. Right now it's thinning, maybe it stops, maybe it doesn't. But I'm still breathing, I still can exercise, I have good health, I have family, it's not the end of the world and you can still be badass with or without hair. Also, if hair transplants help someone feel good, I'm all for it. Gonna explore that as an option myself if it gets that bad. PS: The bald/buzzcut look is great on you, Juji!

I started thinning out at 16-17, mostly the wings were getting higher. At 24-25 i could notice thinning on the top of my head and i started using hair fiber products to try and hide it. It was a horrible feeling knowing that if it would start raining i would look like a baldy. I'm 31 now, shaved everything off 2 years ago and i feel so good about it. Having alot more confidence, i look more mature and clean and my beard fills my face way better. Walking around in public without feeling like having to wear a cap is the best feeling! Going bald is no joke, not funny and not "just hair". It takes courage to accept it. But when you do, it feels so good!

I was a Norwood 3 and went for 3200 grafts 13 months ago at age 32, it's grown back super thick and the hairline is completely natural. The procedure itself was time consuming but not too bad. It took until the 4-5 month mark before I could get away with my hair looking 'normal' (initial hairs are pretty thin and wiry) and after 6-7 months it started to look really good. With a strong donor area I'm sure yours will look great, Juji.

I began to loose hair in my teen years. But I rapidly lost it at 21-22. Shaved my head to 3mm of hair, and honestly people told me that I looked great! Was I sad? Yes, for sure. But the more I kept my hair the more self conscious I became. Kept loosing hair and now you could see it through the 3mm of hair as well. Decided to go completely bald 2 months ago and honestly I feel much better! People kept telling me that I look even better this way than with hair (when I had). I'm not self conscious about it anymore, cause I don't have to worry about people seeing the bald spots anymore. So if you are someone who's struggling with this, I would suggest you to try it out! You can at least grow it back out if you still want to keep it later.
