I love to just imagine an extremely beaten up and badly hurt ironclad standing up and saying stuff like "Oh you think this is pain?! I'll show you MY pain!" 😂 Yeah all the different kinds of decks you can make work in the game is incredible, it's just so much fun. One of my all time favorites is an exhaust deck with 1 or 2 wild strikes and 2 or 3 fire breathing with an evolve+, the goal being to get down to nearly wounds only.

Curses are hardcore, I like to use evolve with fire breathing so that I can just draw tons of wounds, which make me draw more wounds to draw more wounds till my hand is full. 😂 I could see battle trance doing wonders though if you did it with curses only.

Yeah medkit would be HUGE for just about any wound exhaust build. There's a lot of potential for extreme abuse of fire breathing with evolve and dark embrace if you have a medkit.

​@@FireBowProductions Yeah it has all come together. Evolve, Power through, second wind, feel no pain, dark embrace - without most of these you are not going to win with that build. Mostly, you should not try to look for a certain build to begin with, just pick cards that solve problems you have at that moment (for example good damage commons for Gremlin Nob, or scaling block for act 3 bosses), the synergies are going to come later in the game. Wish you good luck, you'll get more experienced - also watching Streamers and trying to understand their decisions helps.

@@BedrockBlocker I usually play with a specific deck in mind, and I try to get it to work, but if the cards aren't in it for me (literally) then I just try to make do and use my game sense to understand what my deck needs just for me to live.

Nice di- i mean deck! If you had one more dark embrace there is an infinite with playing reckless charge, havoc (exhausts dazed) and you draw 2 cards (reckless charge and havoc) off of the double dark embrace.

It's VERY powerful if you use fire breathing and evolve. Those two are my bread and butter for status cards. I like to try and get 2 upgraded fire breathing cards with an upgraded evolve, then play power through a bunch as well as some wild strikes. If my entire deck consisted of just 2 upgraded power through cards, 2 upgraded fire breathing cards, an upgraded evolve, and 2 wild strikes, I'd probably be near immortal... Add a couple feel no pain cards and an upgraded second wind, and I literally WILL be immortal!

I've played this game a lot, ascension is literally the most nothing in this game. A1 or A20 has no real difference, you'd die if your deck and relics suck.

@@QilinsReverseScale no way it gets way harder on higher ascensions. Start lower health, enemies do more damage, heal less, harder enemy move sets. I could go on but all those make it even harder to have the right deck balance
