Hi Mike and thank you for the kind comment, it’s greatly appreciated. I’m looking for £350 for the whole set - driving and trailer car plus the 5 coaches. I have fitted Hunts magnetic couplings to give a closer coupling, DCC decoder in both the driving and trailer car giving directional lighting and cab light. As I said in the video, this is not the cheap railroad range but the super detailed version, it will also come fully boxed too. Hope that’s of interest to you. Cheers. ……….Graham

Hi Graham I have a large model railway in my loft that I built. For a change I built a model boat from a kit, which I really enjoyed which shortly I will be taking to a boating lake. What I am now going to do is model railway in winter, and model boats in summer. I am 81 and I find it is best to keep challenging yourself to keep your brain active. Good luck with the boat, but remember before you put it in the water to look into having a rescue boat. Martin

Great to hear from you Graham and pleasing to know that you are now in a better place. Fantastic looking boat and coming from family members who were heavy into trains, planes and boats (father and father) I can appreciate the time, skill and patience it took to build but more importantly it helped with your state of mind, what is it they say "a change is as good as a rest". My late father built a tug out of fibreglass when I was 11 (ah over 50 + years ago) and it took two people to carry it, I was able to sit in the hull whilst empty and paddle around the local lake. When finished it had a 12v car battery with two motors and a brass rudder nearly 6 inches long (old school measure). My late grandfather run a model shop and helping out at weekends was like being a kid in a sweet shop, those were the days. Please pass my regards to Hazel and looking forward to your next video what ever it is about, lol. Regards Barry.😄👍🚂🛩🛥

Hi Graham, great to see you back safe and well, the secondhand market can be very fruitful for greedy people especially the ones on eBay, asking a fair price is paramount in this day and age, maybe a closed bid system would be a better way, the highest bidder wins and gets a gem of a HST set from a reputable honest modeller. I’m not a fan of the livery but I do appreciate that it is a very nice set of cars and coaches, I do like the steam generator Hornby locomotives, it’s good to see that smoke issues have been addressed, i’m not sure it was Hornby who solved the issues with the cv settings but it’s good and will probably help sell more of them, I’m not a fan of the TXS Bluetooth system so I probably won’t get one until other manufacturers sound decoders can be used with the Hornby steam generators, hopefully this will happen in the future, by the way I just got my Accurascale class 37 in HNRC orange livery, it’s absolutely gorgeous in that livery and I hope to run it over the weekend, the class 66 does look very nice and has been made into the locomotive it should have been when Hatton’s made the best detailed class 66 to date, the EM2 speaker in the original Hatton’s model along with the Legomanbiffo sound file are a match made in heaven in my opinion, Accurascale engineered it out to fit the cheaper EM1 speaker or the better known Accurathrash speaker, maybe the powers that be will deliver a model for me for my birthday later in the year dcc ready in DB cargo livery. Take care mate and thanks for sharing.

Great to see you back, young man, so many things in life can get us down but knowing that you have good advice and the proper help from people around you is a great boost, and always keep in mind you also have the vast support from all of us that follow you on this channel,. The boat looks fab, as an early teenager I always imagined how sneaky it would be to go along to a large pond where people were sailing their boats and I'd have a radio controlled submarine that could torpedo them, ha-ha. We used to watch a model programme on tv presented by Bob Symes (?) where he covered different model making vehicles etc, boats were always a passion so to see your new build brings back a lot of happy memories of the tv show and of sailing boats at the pond, cheers and keep well

Well, very nice to see you back again. This video is weird! It was 2 days ago when I thought, where's Graham, haven't heard from him for a few months. I was worried you may have stopped all KZbin videos or you weren't well, but here you are looking all fit & well! I even googled your Facebook page. My you were handsome looking person in your "younger days" 😃👍 The boat looks amazing. Not much happening at Hawthorn Valley lately. I have come to a sudden halt building my 3 modules to make the transition to moving the layout around on wheels. I was on track to build the 3rd module until last Friday when I had an appointment to visit my skin doctor for the annual checkup. He found 3 innocent looking spots so he took 3 biopsies - 2 on my left hand and 1 on my cheek, called back Tuesday and said they have to come off, so Wednesday the cheek and 1 on the hand were out, yesterday (Friday) the 2nd one on the hand was done! To make matters worse the left hand is my dominant hand! So things have come to screeching halt until 2 August. Enough of my problems. Can't wait to see your next video and good luck selling your HST, hope you get the price you're hoping for. ... Ian ...
