I was so hyped for Lego Worlds, the freedom and the exploration aspect on the beta version were wonderful. But the release version didnt have the same charm. I dont think Lego Fortnite will be able to create a world made entirely of lego bricks, but maybe a Lego Worlds 2 in the future? I can dream

Thats not how these partnerships work at all. What happens is the company comes to the creator and says "I will offer you $x if you play the game and make a video about it", there are a few details around how long the video will be, when it will be posted... and thats about it, contract signed. Nowhere in these contracts is the creator required to say anything about the game, much less anything positive. Anyvenom could have crapped all over the game if he wanted to, he gets paid just the same.

@@jacobbarta6856 A lot of times people that take these deals don't throw much negative feedback in for various personal reasons, but I don't know Antvenom so I won't speculate... people are just generally nice, and positive... I'm sure Antvenom had a good time, and wanted to spend this video talking about that. Me personally, I have been playing a lot of Lego Fortnite, and enjoy the game quite a lot. It definitely has it's area's where it needs to improve, and it's not a Minecraft replacement, as it has quite many systems that are different, but it's still in the same genre, so there will likely be a fair amount of playerbase crossover appeal... some will like it a lot, some will want nothing to do with it.

​@jacobbarta6856 So? Those people are likely friends as I don't imagine you walking up to random people irl and asking them about Lego Fortnite of all things. That means you likely have similar interests; which, while not necessarily meaning you will have the same opinions on such subjects, does make it far likelier. If I were to ask who enjoyed playing Minecraft on r/Fortnite, I would probably get much different answers then if I randomly polled the general population. While not a perfect analogy, it does get my point somewhat across. Just because everyone *you* talked to didn't like the game, that doesn't mean no one enjoys it. In fact, all of my friends who have given it a shot have all been pleasantly surprised. While I do agree the video sounded a bit... overly scripted I think a large part of that is just Antvenom's overall deadpan delivery found throughout his videos. Someone like The Russian Badger makes even the most blatantly sponsored section feel not at all like an advertisement because of his chaotic personality and video style. Thus, when someone like Antvenom, who has a very formal style, makes a sponsored video it seems all the more "fake" even if, realistically, the sponsorship deal likely had very little impact on the script.

Fast forward to now, the game has gotten new small parts of progression, new trinkets to have fun with, a fishing mechanic and constantly improving food system, a whole new vehicle-building system that just got added TODAY, new building blocks, new weapons, a ton of quality of life changes and more. I'm personally so excited to see where this game goes in the future and what it'll be like in a year. We already know there's a new biome and enemies getting added soon, with a new level of progression as well, so it's safe to say the LEGO Fortnite team has big plans :0

i actually really enjoy this game. I want to give my honest opinion on it: It has a few shortcomings such as item health, Inventory problems (both they've tried to fix so at least its actively improving) and a few game breaking glitches like me having infinite exhaustion and not being able to run. I chalk this up to it being new and not so much it being because its poor quality. it can be tedious and frustrating at times but is so satisfying when you get to your goal. Building stinks, caves don't regen resources, but other then those knit picks i actively have sunk MANY hours into this game with my beloved. Its a fun alternative to Minecraft with both being different enough to not feel like a "can i copy your homework" scenario. I love the glider and being able to get that, while again tedious is so rewarding. I hope they keep updating the game and keep improving it. More biomes, more improvements, and more secrets will be so amazing. I really hope they do keep the promises of keeping it updated and fresh! Good Job Epic, may have broken many other game companies, but this is a fkn GEM!

I don't think Fortnite is the vessel that should carry a Lego game. Lego Worlds was a step in the right direction in terms of an ideal Lego sandbox, but it seems to be neglected or abandoned. I don't even get why Fortnite is choosing now to branch out to... a Rock Band clone and a Lego-themed Fortnite sandbox. As for customisation, I think Worlds did it better. The entire world was generated with official Lego bricks, you built with Lego bricks. This just seems to be a slightly more free interpretation of Fortnite's build mode. It's kind of cool, but I don't see this as a Lego game. It shouldn't be "Lego Fortnite", it should be "Fortnite: Lego Edition". It's an okay game. I don't think this is the sandbox to challenge Minecraft, though. I can see this not having the same appeal Minecraft does for just how much you can do in the game. I just feel this latest rework of the Fortnite brand, combined with how the Battle Royale has evolved, shows that Fortnite is losing its identity. It looks more like Roblox than Fortnite. I feel adding more brands and intellectual properties isn't going to save Fortnite from being this metaverse-esque cloud of experiences lacking any identity. Cool to see on this channel, but not a great game, in my opinion.

Hi ant. I just thought I'd say that your Minecraft videos are great. You kept me going when I was going through my long Battle of cystic fibrosis. I'm currently on wonderful medication that is basically reversing me back to what I should be and I'm currently receiving medications through a feeding tube when I was first on my feeding tube it was hard but your videos especially your old ones such as the Minecraft Halloween mod in Minecraft shapeshifter mod get me distracted and going when receiving treatment. I found a way to break Minecraft bedrock edition. Current version 1.20.51. First go to the end in creative. Next type /setblock ~ ~ ~ portal. Make sure you didn't move from 100 50 0. It will take you back to the over world but over 32,000 blocks in the air. All sound is gone to and you can't use spawn eggs.

Such a fun mode, people should definitely check it out. But without a proper fast travel mode it's a no go. In my world I need 20 minutes just to get to a desert, which is pretty much the main biome for progress. The durability is also abysmal, even after they increased it and there is also no good way to get resources from animals, they just despawn if you quit the world or you are too far away. If they address that, I'll get back to the grind.

use stairs and a glider for faster travel, there's an enchant table where you can put durability buffs on items, and kill every mob you see so you dont meed to worry about having a farm. find solutions :)

@@frootTVcards I´ve been doing that. It´s still slow. The enchantments come pretty late and are relatively costly, no repairing possible, too. Your storage is quite limited, so killing every mob you see isn´t really an option.

They won't. There is the fun gadgets you can build to jank your way around. And they have already gimped worldgen by making biome diversity forced into a closer and smaller area instead of addressing any problems with their game, of which there are too many.
