Yet somehow I don't think it'd be as good. Karl has been invited on shows without Ricky and Steve and he was boring. That showed how essential they all were, and the animation took it to another level. It'll never be that good again. It's like a relative that died and you only have the memories.

13:35 I think the animators got this wrong. He probably means all the condoms were behind a sliding plastic wall that the staff have to open with a key. It’s to prevent random people from poking holes in them, surprisingly used to happen a lot. Obviously if someone ends up pregnant from a ruined condom, the shop would be in deep shit.

No. In some supermarkets they put condoms in a plastic box that they can only undo at the check out. They also do it to razor blades in some stores. It's because they're expensive and easily stolen. I have to say, though, most places don't do this any more. Boots and Superdrugs don't, and the Morrisons (supermarket) near me don't either.

I've bought condoms, I say its better having safe sex than living with the consequences of unsafe sex, I got mine from one of those small versions of a major supermarket, they had a bright yellow security tag sticker but no plastic cage, Just took them to the checkout, paid in cash and left, no fuss. I think its better to go in, buy them and go, rather than spend minutes looking at them and not buying because you're embarrassed.

Have really enjoyed watching Spencer and Daniel watching and reacting to The Ricky Gervais Show aka Bugs - really good. The series is awesome, love how just from a radio/podcast they spawn a wonderful cartoon - some of the best worn Gervais & Merchant have ever done. Re: condoms being locked in plastic cases; indeed, some shops will do that with items that are targeted for theft. They tend to be high value, small size items that could easily be slipped into a pocket. Overpriced razor cartridges (Gilette etc) are another notable example. And yes, I've never been embarrassed to buy condoms either. Especially when buying them on their own. If I had to buy a cucumber and a jar of vaseline at the same time then yes, that might make me blush. 😅

I've often just bored 2 holes in a coconut (screwdriver is fine if drill too inconvenient), then either put it in a carrier bag and smashed it, or broke it open with a hammer. No need for the oven thing. (Thankfully, if you're in a survival situation)

Spencer; Your 'take' on coconut eating/opening is MAD !!! Never has anyone put a coconut in an oven to 'roast' it and burn the outside off... This is the one time I MUST disagree and say you don't know what you are talking about! Obviously (and I guess because you are American), you have not visited many other countries (like me, a British person, who has travelled the world several times a year). Because in the tropics, the locals would laugh at you. They can open a coconut in seconds, pour you the 'milk' and serve the 'flesh' a minute later...

I totally get where Karl is coming from with the ants... I used to hate it when my nan would kill them with boiling water. They'd come pouring out of the nest in their thousands, each one carrying an egg, and every one of them just frantically trying to save as much of the colony as they could. I find it's impossible to watch that and not be reminded of scenes of a city under attack or devastated by a natural disaster. People fleeing with their children in their arms and whatever they can carry on their back.
