Assalaamu'alaykum, and Jazak'Allahukhair Sheikh Hasan Ali. This talk really helped me to see the bigger picture and understand the specific reasons behind differing Muslim groups, and helped me to overcome the major problem or headache that I have seen of Muslims pointing fingers at each other, and wrongly insulting and creating divisions among the Ummah who are already in the right path. Insha'Allah more Muslims will embrace the differences and work together as one body.

"You (alone) do we worship and You (alone) we ask for help.." (Surah Al-Fatiha, 1:5) We recite this verse of the Qur'an number of times in our daily prayers affirming and reminding ourselves that Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) is the only one worthy of worship and the only one to whom we should seek help. However, those who visit Dargah say that we simply visit to ask the "Walis" to intercede on our behalf with Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) since the "Walis" are closer to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) than we are. Let us analyse the following verse of the Qur'an; "Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful." (Surah Az-Zumar 39:3)

There are many wrongs in your comment Number 1:İn the Surah Al Fatiha Allah Says We Ask For Help And wasila is having someone pray for you to god so he is asking for you and along with you from god Number 2 İn the other ayah Allah Says that the mushriks say we only worship because they bring us close to you....walis are not worshiped

It’s mentioned in the Qur’an in Surah Aa’raf chapter 7 verse 188 Say (O Muhammad): "I possess no power of benefit or hurt to myself except as Allâh wills. if I had the knowledge of the Ghaib (unseen), I should have secured for myself an abundance of wealth, and no evil should have touched Me. I am but a warner, and a bringer of glad tidings unto people who believe." This verse tells us that Prophet Muhammad (saws) he himself could not harm or benefit himself except what Allah wills. So it makes no sense praying and supplicating the Prophet (saws). He (saws) clearly mentioned: “When you ask, ask Allah and when you seek help, seek Allah’s help. Know that if the entire creation were to gather together to so something to benefit you - you would never get any benefit except that Allah had written for you. And if they were to gather you - you would never be harmed except that Allah had written for you. The pens are lifted and the pages are dried.’” (Jami at- Tirmidhi vol. 4 hadith #2516 and also in Musnad Ahmed vol. 1 page no. 293) How can those Sufi/ Berlovi/ Deabondi / Fultoli will know Gaieb where our beloved prophet ( s.a.w) did not know? If any one believe this are they same as other Muslim? May Allah guide us and may we not mislead any one!!

It is not from the Sunnah to say, Sadakallah azeem. After reciting Quran. It is an ayat, and part of the Quran. At the end of reciting the Quran, from the Sunnah is to say, subhanaka Allahumma wa bi hamdhika ash hadhu Allah ilaha illallah wa ash hadhu anna muhammadur rasoolallah.

Seek the evidence in every issue. Seek the Sunnah in every issue. Seek the Manhaj, the methodology and faham, understanding of our Salaf as-salih in every issue. Seek the principles of Ahlus Sunnah in every issue. On the issues of fiqh, ijtihad (where there is no specific evidence or conflicting evidence or scholars have differed on an issue) read both sides or all sides and take what you feel comfortable with. Stay away from sins, innovations in the Deen and blind following of personalities, Imam, Shaykh, Talib etc. Stick to the Ulamah and Tullab who direct you to this way. This will bring about true unity in the Ummah.

(Sahih Bukhari vol.1 hadith no. 428) Um Habiba and Um Salama mentioned about a church they had seen in Ethiopia in which there were pictures. They told the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) about it, on which he said, "If any religious man dies amongst those people they would build a place of worship at his grave and make these pictures in it. They will be the worst creature in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection." (Sahih Bukhari Vol. 1 hadith no. 419) Those who making Dargah, making grave higher, not levelling , seeking help from dead person how can they be Same as other Muslim??

Shaikh how can all be under same umbrella where those who are grave worshippers , who believes pious person don't die, they seek help from deceased , they believe some of wali knows gaieb/ unseen? Isn't it only Allah knows gaieb, when people will die, where they will die,only Allah knows no one else! If you do not like a movement, you may not be part of it. But speaking against one without full understanding, is negation of its principle and the reputed scholars behind it. Scholars have said, there are words which a man will regret on the day of judgement that he should not have said as it will take him out of the folds of Islam without even realizing it. Why take the risk? Silence is golden. I would humbly advice, that you reconsider your notion and remove this comment. Your point no.1: Go to the sufis and discuss the issues. Refutation: It has been done by the numerous qualified scholars numerous times and unfortunately the sufis never listen. Your point no.2: There are some goodness in the sufis. Refutation: "They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: say, In them there is a gross "ithm" (sin), and some benefits for the people. But their sinfulness far outweighs their benefit." [Quran, 2:219] Now according to your logic, there should not be problem in taking intoxicants. Your point no. 3: For the sake of 'unity', let the wrong-doers do the wrong things. Refutation: "That He should establish the truth and abolish falsehood, even if the criminals disliked it." [Quran, 8:8] Your point no. 4: Regarding Imam Abu Hanifa's quotation, no hadiths can be found contradicting his opinions. Refutation: In fact, the existence of so called 4 madhabs (i.e., 4 different sets of opinions) strongly supports the claim that the imams were occasionally wrong on several matters. Imam Shafi (ra) was more clear regarding this: ""When the Hadith is established as authentic in opposition to my statement, then act according to the Hadith and abandon my statement." Your point no. 5: Dr. Zakir Naik is an excellent Da'ee, but not a qualified scholar. Refutation: In this particular regard (keeping hands below the navel), Dr. Zakir Naik did not give or issue his own opinions. He just conveyed what he learned from the qualified scholars regarding this matter. Your point no. 6: Pray as you see your father used to pray! Refutation: An utter rejection of the authentic hadith: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Pray as you have seen me praying.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari. Are you sure that you're not following your own desire here? Your point no. 7: Regarding Sura Nisa verse 59. Refutation: Did you mean what Allah prescribes here (i.e., going back to Allah and His messenger (peace be upon him) if you would differ) is no longer logical? Speak clearly to make your point. I don't know who these people are listening to Mr. Hasan Ali's lecture and pose questions to him, but what I surely know is that whosoever are doing so are just wasting their times.
