As a regular who rides Jacobs’ I can attest to what he says about the speed of Jacobs. It really goes fast and you are not really prepared the first time going down how fast it goes. Throw in loose rock, sand, and dust you are in for a gnarly ride.

Jason's channel (and the skiing at Snowbird) definitely had me looking up home prices in SLC. How great is it that there's that trail system connected with that easy to use path. Jumping is hard man, when you were working with Rich you were clearing some huge tables so you know you can get back there. I keep struggling with jumps too but this year I've been making the effort to go ride jumps once a week or so and it's made a massive difference to my confidence and technical ability in the air. One ride a week man, that's all it takes, especially when someone like yourself is already such a good bike handler!

Jacobs ladder is awesome but nothing new for me so the audio was honestly the most intriguing part of this video for me haha! @mtbyumyum3 жыл бұрын
Matt, having grown up in Draper, I totally agree. I've been riding these trails since 1996 and I hear people complain about CC from time to time. It's obviously not high alpine riding but in terms of sneaking in a quick morning or evening ride, you can't beat CC for the flow and easy of access.... DDH, JL and Levitate are 3 very high level trails that anyone from anywhere would be stoked to ride!
@shredgnarnia57393 жыл бұрын
@@mtbyumyum for sure!! Every time someone says corner canyon sucks, I ask them why they don't like Levitate. 😂 They have nothing to say because they either actually like it or they can't ride it! 😂 I didn't tell you but I sold my Ripmo and got the new 2022 firebird! It's pretty rad! It seems to pedal almost as good as the Ripmo with more travel! I'm loving it so far!!
@madgtrgrhtrgrtgtyhrg3 жыл бұрын
It's not even just CC. The whole South end of Salt Lake Valley has tons of easily accessible riding - Rose Canyon, Blackridge Reservoir, Traverse Mountain, with more coming online next year (Butterfield Canyon), not to mention some good stuff on the East bench areas (Lower Cottonwood Canyon is a personal favorite). You'd be hard pressed to find another big city that has this much amazing riding within 30 minutes' drive, with so much support from municipalities. While Moab is absolutely the crown jewel of Utah MTB (though Gooseberry Mesa is my favorite), the rest of the state is by no means devoid of convenient, and almost always very good to great, riding opportunities. The diversity of trails from flow, to chunky tech, to downhill, to alpine... It's all here, and all available for day trips if you aren't averse to some long car rides. I can't fathom not being absolutely ecstatic about the MTB scene in Utah.
@shredgnarnia57393 жыл бұрын
@@madgtrgrhtrgrtgtyhrg I second that! I live within 15 mins from 5-6 amazing biking locations! I get to ride my MTB like others ride road bikes! Love it! But don't let any more people know!! LOL
