I know this was like a year ago... but just to clear it up... I think she was talking about the choreography/piece not the actual television show. I know the choreographer of this piece and a majority of the dancers in it as they're my good friends and this was performed 2010, and then Kelley Abbey, the choreographer, was invited on the American version of SYTYCD to re do the same choreography on the 8th season cycle, 2011.

@chocolatecakeonetwo ..............The dance is the Argentine Tango version of the 2010 Australian production of FAME THE MUSICAL and these performers are its cast. The girl in the gigantic dress is ROWENA VILAR, who played the lead role of 'Carmen Diaz' in that musical.

I'm American and I've been watching the American version since I was 13 and I'm ' 20 now. I just checked and the American version first aired on July 20, 2005 and the Australian version first premiered on August 2, 2008. So the US came first. We can put this to rest now.

@americanreject42 ...............The performers are not by SYTYCA but they are the CAST of the 2010 AUSTRALIAN Production of FAME THE MUSICAL. invited to perform in the 2010 finale of SYTYCA, of Australian TV Channel 10. I saw this dance performed by the same cast in part 2 of that musical.
