У Дэна действительно хороший канал. Могу еще посоветовать Countryside Acres (a Canadian farmer's family).

Great point, but at the time of making the video, the final list of countries hadn't yet been confirmed and we didn't officially know all the details. This is why I referenced those other channels because Joe at Expat American and Sam's Russian Adventure both do a good job of posting regularly and keeping folks informed. That being said, the Russian language exam is still required for permanent residency, but has been waived for temporary to allow more time to learn. As I understand, for full citizenship, the civic test and an additional language test will still be required as well.
@RussiainReality17 күн бұрын
Igory's reply was pretty spot on, but the list is published and includes most countries that are at odds with Russia.

Been considering moving to Russia from the US for some time. One question I've pondered pertains to occupation and will my skill set be beneficial to Russia? It is also best to pursue occupations that correspond with one's own interests both conscientiously and subconsciously. I like working with my hands and restoring cars. But what is the car culture like in Russia? Questions to consider.
@oscarpetersson5324Ай бұрын
Cars are not as widespread as in the US (let's say on average you have 1 car per 2 people in the US and 1 car per 8 people in Russia). But since sanctions and just in general a salary of a good mechanic is pretty high (compared to the cost of living, of couse). The only problem is "make-it-yourself" mentality. Some things (even in more "elite" places) are self-made or improvised, so you might be confused for some time. Somehow they still do a great job at fixing cars 😂
@worseorbetterАй бұрын
@@oscarpetersson5324 if Russia isn't like California with its CARB bureaucracy and consequential restrictions on performance modifications (most everything is illegal in CA) there might be an avenue or market. Moscow and St Petersburg have some of the best, if not the best public transportation. I can see where the need as great. You can always make cars fun.
@oscarpetersson5324Ай бұрын
@@worseorbetter if you are just a regular mechanic - you'll have plenty of work everywhere. If you are more about exotic/modified cars, then you'll have to find specific places, but they do exist. We do have many "fun" cars and drift culture is quite popular, especially in Ural and far-east regions, but we also have a ton of bureaucracy with that (unfortunately). It might be a bit more relaxed in terms of limits (not sure how that compares to CA, probably CA is stricter), but still a pain in the back to make it street legal.

Can you tell me if they fluoridate the water and are there chem trails in the sky? Thank you!
@laymalaykule236Ай бұрын
When cleaning water, methods of disinfection with chlorine gas and ultraviolet irradiation are used. The main argument in favor of ultraviolet irradiation is the need to ensure disinfection of chlorine-resistant microorganisms: viruses and protozoan cysts. Fluoride is not used. Information from the official website of the Novosibirsk City Water Supply Service. We don't have any chemtrails either.
@vituska89Ай бұрын
I will add that in large cities there is also water ozonation. Water fluoridation is not used. The main problem is the last mile, so often the water quality depends on a particular part of the city or even at home. but ordinary home filters do not cope with this very badly. it is not expensive and common. on the hearths themselves, the water quality is excellent (personal experience). also, in most cities there are bottling points for drinking water, which can be bought quite cheaply.
@anastasiya256Ай бұрын
When I was growing up in Russia in the mid 2000s, there were sometimes spells of rusty water coming from the tap. So, my family always filtered and boiled the water before drinking from the tap. It’s very possible that the situation has improved in Moscow and major cities because the rust was most likely coming from old Soviet pipes, which were being actively replaced even then. Nowadays, plastic pipes are the standard everywhere, AFAIK… so, no rust. But I wouldn’t be so hopeful for smaller towns and villages because they’ve always had a reputation for lagging behind in development… 🤷🏼♀️ but this is just conjecture. Just FYI on the history of water safety in Russia.
@RussiainReality17 күн бұрын
Excellent question and it seems that others have been able to answer better than I could. I knew it wasn't fluoridated but I didn't fully understand the process like others have explained. As for chemtrails... I know nothing on this topic.
@RussiainReality17 күн бұрын
My wife and some friends have spoken about this happening in the past. I've never personally seen it, but as I said in another reply, we use a filtration system in our apartment and it works well. Also, it isn't expensive.

Hi 'Jo.King' (catchy). Yes, there is a reciprocation agreement on Visa length between Russia and the US. The duration maximum is 3 years for Tourist and Business Visas. However, a US citizen may not stay for more than 180 days consecutively without leaving. This was the mechanism that many ex-pats used for many years, but now the immigration process for obtaining Temporary Residency (RVP) has been simplified.

@@ТатьянаГубина-и1и American blogger with pro-Russian views, 64 year old Russell Bentley, also known by the pseudonym "Texas," was brutally raped and murdered in April of this year 2024 in Donetsk. Bentley, who publicly supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine, was an active war blogger, regularly posting content supporting the actions of Russian armed forces. Bentley was recording the passage of Russian military equipment through Donetsk when soldiers of the 5th Armored Brigade stopped him. The soldiers accused him of collaborating with the Ukrainian rocket artillery, allegedly pointing out targets for them in Donetsk. As a result, Bentley was reportedly subjected to torture, brutally sexually abused, and then murdered by Russian soldiers. Pro-Russian American Russell Bentley Bonner, born in Texas in 1960, initially worked in the USA as a lumberjack. However, in 2014, influenced by media reports of alleged crimes committed by Ukrainians, he decided to leave the United States and move to Donetsk. Russell Bentley was baptized in the Orthodox Church, married a Russian woman and joined the pro-Russian separatists. He declared that he wanted to fight against Ukraine. During the Donbas conflict, he served several months as a grenade launcher operator in the so-called Armed Forces of Novorossiya. After this period, he became involved in propaganda activities, and his last publications appeared on the pro-Russian portal Sputnik. Source: MSN, Moscow Times, X Nexta TV and Daily Wrap.
