For starters you can use acrylic paint with a little water in it or ypu can use markers ( thats how i started reborning )

It doesn't matter, you'll find out yourself when to apply which kind of layer, because every artist works differently. There is truly no order you have to follow, so you can add skin tones and mottlings at every stage of the painting process. It's just learning by doing ☺️
