Thank you so much for this video! I just joined a power yoga studio and I'm wanting to do their yoga teacher training at the end of this year. Pretty much everything you said resonated with me as a full time professional musician. Especially the strange societal expectation that we should work for free. I wish I could play music for free but I need to eat! I love your channel and it's been very inspiring for my journey!

Thank you for sharing your journey and for breaking down what it actually means to be a yoga teacher.💜 I am in my 3rd year of teaching high school in the public school system and I'm already feeling burnt out... Over the summer I started my master's degree in mindfulness, social emotional learning, and yoga with Breathe For Change with the intention to help my students but I'm discovering more on this journey and I just started to seriously consider other career avenues other than being a public school teacher and when I thought of being a yoga teacher I fell in love with the idea! I just feel so daunted by the process of how to get to a full time yoga teacher... any more information and insight would be appreciated 🙏🏻

Yes thank you :0 because honestly I’ve been going back and fourth for so long and there’s not enough transparency . I think I’m struggling in finding time now because of my 9-5 . But this was such a good video

Thank you for this video :) I love both vinyasa and yin yoga, but I feel most drawn to yin. I have mental health struggles and it has been one of the greatest tools for helping me to sit with strong emotions. I think if I decide to teach it will be online, maybe via youtube as free yoga videos is what got me started. I would definitely start it as a hobby to help others and see where it goes :)
