As a 15 year old high school student I want to be an Ob/Gyn and this video is literally just what I need. Edit: Tbh I think I have to clear it. I don't live in US or UK. My country has a different education system which is after high school we go to uni. How many years you study changes within the degree, like for med school its 6 years, for architecture its 4 years etc. We decide which lessons we'll get in the second half of high school in second year. It divides as verbal, numerical, language and TM (Turkish&Math). So its better if I begin to decide what I want to be this year because we have an exam to get in to unis. 😊

As a 14 year old going through gynaecological problems from age 12 and Being told I'm going to need surgery in the next two has completely inspired me to become a OBYGYN and has opened my vision to the problems teens and women go through. I truly believe that we need more of these incredible specialists in the world to provide anyone needing this specific care. I wish, dream and believe to become one 🤞 and hopefully treat the next generation and inspire them. This is my goal in life, including writing a book about my journey through my problem. Ob/gyn ia great but the deliveries are so risky. There is the biggest chance in comparison other specialities that someone will prosecute you. For example few month ago in our hospital one young mom after delivery complained that she "didn't enjoy the delivery and she wants to go to the court"....yes you hear it. She was complaining about not enjoying the delivery. It didn't matter that her kid was alright. So many doctors told me that if you want to do ob/gyn you must do some necessary deliveries for your board certification. But after that run away from it.
