It's so humid here, I have to shrink wrap my bath bombs or they eventually get moisture to them. I love how they look just wrapped in bubble wrap and so easy to unwrap. You have a very classy, elegant style and I have loved your channel since I first found it 5 years ago. Thanks Karen

Hi Karen I may be wrong I got this problem when I started to use the eco soy melt wax, but I looked into it I was advised that this particular wax should only be heated to a maximum of 70°c and then you fragrance oil us to be added as close to the pouring temperature as possible,I add mine at around 64°c and my melts have improved immensely x

If someone is annoyed by leftover wax in their molds add some food grade paraffin wax, I'd try 2% to start with. I find that whenever I have a small problem like that, I add a tad bit of food grade paraffin or a hard vegetable wax, there are several on the market. This is a lovely trio, I would sell in a set as well as individuals. Once again you've shown us basic can be beautiful, Karen! Have an awesome week! Jill Gross

What a great mix of disciplines. Really enjoyed it. I may be tempted at some point to make soap. The Melts, Bombs and soap look beautiful with the petals. I have just got through 25 Kilos of the Eco Soy Melt ( using cold moulds and had very few problems de-moulding. Working the mould, pulling and tugging greatly helps the removal. Looking forward to the next offering, and of course your Melt CLP's. Keep up the Terrific work. Have you tried the BagnBox man for packaging of all kinds?.

I have old assessments that were bought before 2013 so I have a lot more freedom with fragrances and colours. Base recipes I have quite a few different assessments for., which I’ve built up over the 16 years I’ve been doing this. In my opinion the assessors are getting greedier and greedier by limiting more and more to the point that we will need to buy an assessment for every different styled product! I know of one assessor that is 5 months behind because they are snowed under with assessments yet still they continue to charge more and more money soaping is so much more popular these days too and yet it continues x
@ClumsinessisaCurse3 жыл бұрын
@@EdensSecret1 that's so lucky, well done for getting in there early with it because it's almost impossible to get set up all 'above board' these days. I wanted to make my own bath salts to add to my shop and the cost per scent (even though it's the exact same formula each time but with a different oil) was insane! Like I said I have a million ideas and love to experiment like you do, and that's just not possible any more :( Pure greed, I agree!

@EdensSecret13 жыл бұрын
You are in the UK, yes? If you have your recipe ready, simply get in touch with a safety assessor. Cosmetic Safety assessments are good but apparently VERY slow at getting assessments out. Just get in touch with one and they will tell you what to do from there. Here is a good link for different companies who do assessments www.gracefruit.com/further-information/safety-assessors

I am so sorry but i have to say this. Your making body products for customers and your not wearing gloves. I have noticed this with a lot of your videos. Even when you have been making soaps. As a business you need to be hygienic and always wearing gloves when making body products. Even when you are painting bath bombs your not wearing gloves. It should be something you do all the time. Im not saying this to hate on you but to just say it really is a must to be putting them on.
