I do this as well..I reconstitute milk powder and add it once my liquid oils is incorporated

OH MY GOSH! Girl you just crack the code......so ou add the powder to the oil it self blend thoroughly then, add that mixture to the hard oil

Don't you have to check the Temps of the lye water and oils before blending? First time I've seen the heat transfer method. Thanks.

General rule of thumb is up to 1 TBSP per lb of soap.

Hi Jen, used your methods of hot lye to melt the solids. Everything went well (hardley split any). Got very excited. Then put it in the freezer. Everting so far correct. Laid down as I have a bad back. After rest was reading the recipe and horrors of horrors forgot the Castor oil. 😭 What will happen to the soap bars? Thank you for you answer. 😭🙏🥰

What % of your recipe is castor oil and what % is your super fat?
