the beginning is in german and backwards but translated its "i do not feel myself anymore" the other bit is latin and translate to "let perpetual light shine on them" in case anyone was curious

Sometimes there's a rhythm in my head which i can't stop and everything around me fits in it. In that moments i feel like going mad. And this song is perfectly featuring how this feels like, including that rhythm in it and that all.

Yes, i experience this. A rhythem in my head, like my thoughts takes on a different rhythm from what they nor ally are. it's eerie and hypnotizing. And when i talk i feel the same rhythm but no one else does. I used to be scare of it. It's like sinking in to yourself
@quinnlewis20036 жыл бұрын
The screams are a accidental recording of the singer when she got really mad after a argument on the phone. They are played in reverse yo give it a haunting effect.
@proof-xx1vv6 жыл бұрын
HI friend! You don't happen to know what type of opera or acapella the singing at the end is?
@quinnlewis20036 жыл бұрын
I'm not quit sure. But if you go to genius. Com it has the lyrics and it might tell you more about the Latin chant.

The Opera parts are a Latin chant that translates to "May eternal light shine upon them."

@@proof-xx1vv the choral singing was composed by Anja, there is no classical song with that chorus. The words of the text, however, are taken from the Requiem aeternam.

Wow !!! The intro ,that scream,with the rhythm coming in ,that voice and the choir ,this is so catchy for me, and I'm immediately putting it on repeat .I love it like fire and ice ,like velvet and concrete ,a strange combination that I love ❤️ Reminds me of Nico,but so modern,so unique and personal ,a classic already for me as everything Soap&Skin do 🔥

All of your work is of such an instinctively phenomenally high artistic quality - you are such an inspiration.
