I must commend you for this marvellous interview. I have never seen Lizabeth interviewed before. She comes across as a lovely person. The part with the lip gloss is quite fascinating and doesn't diminish her in any way. She shows a great vocabulary and insight into her splendid career. Sometimes had to struggle to hear the questions, however. More interviews please!!!

+Huwey Jenkins Thank you so very much for your kind words! We're so happy that you're enjoying it- it was truly one of the best days of my entire career shooting this... meeting Miss Scott was a childhood dream come true. :)

Came across this slightly by accident (apologies) and find her to be utterly charming, intelligent, and someone you want to know more about. Nothing like the scheming characters she portrayed. This was videographed in 1996 but feels quite contemporary - which means it's timeless. Wonderful!

People complaining there is no microphone and they should have left out the part about her lipstick do you know how grateful we are to have this on film? Thank you Soap Box Productions its not like this woman does a lot of interviews and film buffs like myself live for stuff like this. Thank You!! I am grateful for your efforts and sharing.

Thanks SO much, Stephanie- You're very kind. She was more than a little nervous at the start of the interview- Janet gave her a glass of white wine to calm her a bit! :) Warmest Regards, Luke Sacher

Wonderful to hear Lizabeth liked Joan Crawford and Joan wrote to her. There’s so many things like that Joan did.
@cchevy9364 ай бұрын
Joan prolly wanted to sleep with Lizabeth and prolly wrote her bc Joan never did anything altruistic. She had an angle; prolly to keep Lizabeth in check bc Joan was at Warner's by the time Lizabeth showed up and hit big. Joan was a has been by then.

Knowing that Liz became a bit of Recluse and refused interviews for many years, Im so glad she consented to this one to seal her Film Noir Legacy. She obviously has Reconciled herself to her past, let go of any bitterness over any career disappointments. She is reveling in her Rediscovery, showing her candor and a bit of warmth. I love her in Desert Fury, Dead Reckoning and Pitfall. Glad the interviewers stay away from Sex-Life and who she slept with kinda questions.

Since she was such a private person, I too was pleasantly surprised to see this wonderful 1996 interview. I could listen to her talk all day long....or all night long for that matter !

I loved Lizabeth Scott in her films, but she is so much more attractive in this interview! I don't know how to describe it. She's a completely different person in this from her film roles, and she's much more appealing.

Probably because we shot this at her and our friend Janet Leigh's house? She was totally comfortable, there was no pressure at all... :)

@soapbxprod: I really enjoy all of the wonderful, archival clips you've uploaded; the casual beach parties are so precious; all of these fabulous legends and A-List movie folk (literally, some w/their hair down and at least one---Anthony Perkins---w/his clothes off!). This interview with the great, Lizabeth Scott, is just fantastic. Thank you for posting all!

I could hear the interviewer just fine, and the laughter, and the camera crew. I dont need to hear the interviewers nostril hair wind songs while breathing-this is audio good enough lol So many interviewers don't know the material, or the person they are sitting in front of, and so many good moments are missed by not having that chemistry there- but in this, I hear a fun, comfortable enjoyable interview & WHAT A LAUGH LIZABETH! lol
