Thank you! I primarily use zinc oxide as a white pigment, it was so helpful to see the comparison. I don’t expect nor want a white bar when using a FO that discolors, but it is great to see how it can be lessened.

Awesome as always! Now we need one on how to combat the dreaded monster under the bed...known as Soda ash!
@Bethanyfreespeech5 жыл бұрын
I’ve noticed that soaps I pour at very low trace seem to ash, also if high in olive oil they will get the dreaded ash as well.😱

Thanks for this video! How much titanium dioxide went into the 2.25oz bar to achieve that color? I know you said the dispersal rate, but I didn't catch the total usage rate.

Wow! That’s a drastic difference; the brown bar is strange! I wonder if that could be the problem I’m having. I just started making soap for myself and an aunt, but they are turning out so ugly I just want to toss it in the garbage.

I LOVED the bar that was fragrance oil/no color. How did the fragrance smell?

Thank you so much for this video! I've been looking for videos with zinc oxide. Which brand did you use? Mine speckles SO much, even with mini mixer, even with mashing it with a palet knife. Did your bar speckle with zinc oxide? BTW, I'm even more glad now that I never bought the vanilla stabilizer.

Is there a way to tell if your oils will turn the batter dark before ruining a batch?
@soaping1015 жыл бұрын
Check with the supplier on the vanilla %, the higher % will darken. Also, it is a good practice to test your fragrance oil with a small batch first.
