I really wish Sobek got some strength scaling. I get they don’t wanna slap it on every god but his 1 + 2 being intelligence scaling is very strange.

Personally i think it was an opportunity to make him strength scaling that deals magical damage. We have had Hybrid scaling that is physical or magical, but we have not seen a str scaling that's magical or a int scaling that's physical exclusively.

I believe it’s a quality of life change that hi-rez added. If your pluck amounts to getting negated through beads or any cc immunity, it cancels the animation automatically

If the target is immune to the pluck in any way (CC immune, dead, Totem, FG, etc.) then it cancels the pluck portion of the animation

You know since sobek doesnt have the animation look like in smite 1 you can auto them in the air after you pluck them if you turn around fast its not that hard on console so id imagine its easy on pc to get that extra free damage

Sobek like this will be a prime evidence why the 2 relic system should come back bc what do u do? U can beads the pluck or aegis an execute but I'll enjoy it while it's here

Nah get this out of the game lol. Sobek does not need an execute. If they do decide to keep it, they need to make it a smaller area because sobek blink into a team fight and press 4 twice and execute half or all of the enemy team lol. I have walked away from fights just to have a sobek blink and execute me under the tower before I have time to process.
