Respect bro! Tom is real to the bone dude. I’ve never had a real alcohol problem. But pain killers, coke, and at one point it almost ended me. Much happier now. Real life, real solution. Drugs and alcohol only allow you to escape while your high. Now I’m here. All my stuff paid for. All my friends still there have nothing or are slowly losing it all. Relationships, homes, and there health. Keep it up bro. It’s easy after awhile. I’m sure you already know.

7 years ❤️ Tom hitting ya in the feels, again. Tom’s rawness, his openness about his battles, I cry every time I hear this. The hardest part is dealing with all the memories of missing so many important moments. It’s so hard when you face all those losses, you never get them back, but you have to use that pain as an incentive to never lose anything again. When you fall down, the worlds closing in, you can get up again… HOG4LIFE ❤️

Very proud you. 14 years is a major accomplishment. Side note, my husband was visually impaired. His eyes were super sensitive to light, and I found that yellow tint was best for tv or computer screens. He had dark lens that were polarized for sunlight or fluorescent lights. Might save you some money on eye drops. Hugs. Love from Newfoundland.

im currently on day 51 of recovery from my porn addiction which has been so hard to beat especially since i have ADHD so having the control to not use it or look it up is impossible unless i use web blockers on my pc and phone which i am and i honestly have never been this happy and hopeful in my entire life i stg its like this fog has been lifted from my eyes and i can FINALLY see the world i have laughed and smiled more in the past 51 days then i have in the past 2+ years i NEVER understood how someone could get an addiction or understood how bad they were until i finally faced that i had one i just didn't want to face cause lets be honest who ever WANTS to face their addiction it is in my opinion one of, if not the scariest things a human can face because your in your body but you are held hostage to that addiction in your mind until you finally say no and mean it anyway loved the reaction man people really need to hear the messages tom puts in his songs way more then they do

I believe Nova, Tom and Brandon got sober together. At least Tom and Nova, which says a lot. When you were talking about sweating...I can relate. I am bipolar. Once I started taking meds, being happy and excited freaked me out because I was scared of being manic. I also missed being manic. If I was sad, I was scared I was falling down the rabbit hole again. Now I have been stable for almost a decade. I'm not scared and I learned to appreciate the quirky, weird person I am. It's beautiful.

There was only once when I was teetering on that line. F*cked my back up for the 2nd time before I was 30. Pain never went lower than a 7/10 but stayed about 9/10 to 10/10 for weeks. Once I got three epidurals, PT, pain patches, tens unit and the meds, finally got back to normal. Took months! I was scared to stop taking the meds in case it hurt again, but I was more scared of being addicted. This song resonates.

Former Oxy addict, as well. It's tough. So tough. Took 16 years of my life, all from surgery and a Lortab prescription. Anyone who reads this not currently suffering from an opiate addiction - please, take it from me, if you get a script, unless you cannot stand the pain one more second, don't take that first pill! Don't even fill it, unless you really need it. If you do have to take some, ONLY take what you need those first couple of days when the pain is unbearable, then throw that shit out! It's not worth it! Plus, aside from alcohol, its the hardest, most painful substance to kick. Opiates came straight from hell.
@anthonymosesso99493 жыл бұрын
I was dope fiend for 18 years. I introduced my older brother to it when he couldn't get the pills anymore I taught him how to shoot up and all that shit. I've been clean off dope for over 3 years now but I found my bro dead from an overdose on 1/9/19 that's when I started drinking heavy. I would wake up and pound my handle of cheap vodka until I passed out hoping I wouldn't wake up again to start the misery over I wanted to take my own life but I made a promise to my mom the night my bro passed I wouldn't go anywhere so I was looking for a loophole. I went to rehab 1/10/21 I've been sober since. Tom seriously helped me with this song. And yeah it was scary doing it I was afraid I would change but my mom tells me every day she's happy to have her son back. I'm very happy we're on the same train bro. Love your videos. #Hangovergang
@Gutslinger3 жыл бұрын
I used to be hooked on pain pills a couple of years. Nowhere as heavy as others that I know, but took a few daily. Never really told anyone about it, except my mom, after I started panicking one day after taking some. Went through the torture of withdrawal multiple times. Not really sure how I finally quit. I just knew that if I took another while I was in the middle of withdrawing, I would have to start that whole withdrawal process over again. Thinking about that, and failing a few more times, I finally gained enough mental determination to fully ride the withdrawal out and never take them again. It's probably been about 6 years since I've quit. Unlike others who say that it's still a daily battle for them, it's not for me. I have no desire or temptation to try them again. That doesn't mean that I might not feel addicted if I tried them again, but in my clean state, I feel no desire for them.
