I remember the 70's Cardiff was one of the best waves in lo cal now you need a 10'0" just to be able to maybe catch a wave to yourself, party waves can be fun unless it's 6' glassy and perfect so if you want to surf by yourself there's still a handful of places you can still find good quality waves with just yourself and a few friends all you have to do is search because it's not seen from coast highway unless your happy sharing a wave with 6 other people

Connor Pearson yea longboarders don’t wear leash’s so they can walk up and down the board without a cord in the way. He’s board floated all the way and in and he had to swim

@@SoCalSurfer Lol I know. I surf there sometimes. It does get dicey though with the crowds. The guy at 2:33 doesn't need a leash obviously, but I find more and more people do need them there. Keep the shot of the board floating all the way in. I'd like to see it. LOL

@@SoCalSurfer Long boarders in general need leashes, really good long boarders in uncrowded line ups can get away without leashes. Most the people in this video do fall under really good long boarders though.
