Soccer On Bikes?! We Tried Cycle Ball & This Is What Happened!

Over the years, we have tried all sorts of weird and wacky incarnations of cycling, from bike polo to cycle speedway and even something called mountain biking! One we hadn’t tried was cycle ball… that’s, until now! Hank met with riders from the Austrian and German national teams to find out about the sport, learn the basics and see if he could hold his own in a match!

growing up in 1980s czechoslovakia i genuinely thought this was as popular a sport as anything else out there (judging by it’s presence on the TV news)… thanks, Pospíšil brothers, 20 times world champions (between 1965 and 1988).

Nice video! Got many friends who play cycle ball and also tried it a few times myself. It's really hard to actually get a decent shot etc. Next up: a little tournament between GCN, GMBN, GTN and EMBN...? I'm sure that would be fun!
