Population of UP Bihar is already paying taxes, Indirect taxes. So please think before writing. Coming to other problem, I am also against people from UP specially, as they are filled with ego, politics in everything and their superiority complex about themselves. Be it in any field they work in. Earlier whenever people pointed out about their mindset, they used to give examples of Maximum no of IPS and IAS coming frm UP and Bihar, and maximum PM coming from their state. Then why administration across UP is bad? And the same culture is followed across states where they are posted? Maximum PM have come from there so why not develop the state? Improve the citizens lives that live in the state so that people from other part of country can come and settle there freely? But no, they think entire country is mine, but with the close minded thinking and ego they cannot accept anyone to settle in UP or Bihar or let industries flourish of people from outside state? Why maximum Up politicians sons and dughters are either in Mumbai or Abroad? These questions cannot be kept quite for too long now. By diverting to other questions you cannot take away the core issues handling your state!

And everyone asks for their annual exam marks, half yearly marks and by that they make an estimation of how good their teacher is. Or many people just don't care about that, because we haven't come out of the world of "jo teacher kehta hai, which thik hota hai".the idea that The teacher can say wrong things too is something I don't find in many people.

This growth will and never compound. Cause all the individuals that go through this system and create businesses send this money off to their children who move out of the country. And the process starts again. Once business A shuts down cause their children went to US/UK some poor fellow has to go through the system again to make the same business again to fill up the void remaining from Business A this goes on for generations while we remain at the same place in global terms. We only have a chance cause we are the highest population lright now par this wont go on for long.

I was working with a Maharatna PSU as an officer for past one year. I have left it now. The key takeaway that I have from my experience is that people are happy not doing anything. The problem that incentives are given based on seniority and not on the job performance is making the organisation crawl when it has the potential to fly. People are going to get the salary, the bonus and the incentives on time just from sitting in the office regardless of whether or not they are doing what they are supposed to do. It may sound ideal for an employee but it makes the people outdated and lethargic. The primary sufferers are the stakeholders whose futures are dependent on these organisations.

I'm aware of an honest IAS officer from the 90s batch who arrested a notorious gangster. Following the arrest, he faced years of death threats but successfully took down the gangster's operations. However, he was subsequently transferred to a low-profile department because the CM didn't want such bold actions that could impact their vote bank. You're correct in pointing out that while honest officers today ensure there are no scams linked to their names, they cannot make impactful decisions without approval from the ministers. Many times IAS offers are also made the scapegoat of illegal activities committed by these ministers (aware of such actual cases).
