Hey just wanted u to know Yahawah is real and Yahawashai also a lot of ppl try to undercut him because they r upset with the reality they created the problem is ppl dont wanna follow the word they anxious because they wanna play in a false reality pretending to care about others when they know its all about profit and all this good stuff what good is it to know its stolen or built off destroying others how can anyone continue to perpetuate the concept they hate daily or come to terms with forced interactions the idea you r here without yahawah as the creator that idea alone is a definite no just theres no point in that not for me. But this was a really good watch and keep it up yes the good and evil r in yahawahs hands as are the people who have a order and structure in his plan wheather they like the position or not. And honestly its going to be as it should in the end. Ppl keep saying no ones coming but when you simply don't accept any of the bs man puts on for a show lol 💯 😴 😂 I don't mean nothing by being fair in my lingo. This was fun to watch keep it up

Telling a socially anxious person to "Just go out" is equivalent of saying "Don't be sad" to a depressed person

Not even close! Horrible analogy you can’t just turn off depression, but you CAN just go out, ur anxiety just won’t like it bruh
@Seekingsophia00
@Seekingsophia00 9 ай бұрын
It's a solid analogy. I grasp the intended message. For individuals grappling with severe social anxiety, the prospect of being scrutinized or observed can intensify their anxiety. When anxiety reaches a peak, the inclination to avoid social situations becomes pronounced. While it's theoretically possible to push through, anxiety typically holds sway. It's crucial to distinguish between anxiety and mere shyness; anxiety can be incapacitating and draining, potentially paving the way for depression.

@@NikkypoohYT That's what you're not understanding. You can't "just go out". There can be a mental block for someone with social anxiety just like how there's a mental block for a depressed person to be happy. Of course it's not the same illness nobody is saying that but there's certain things that seem easy to others that are actually really difficult for a person with mental illness. Also, most people with social anxiety have depression.

You might also be aware that you have no particular goal in your life, I'm not talking about the dreams we see of becoming successful and all. You aren't really working towards achieving something other than trying to make your own social life better. I was also anxious in my early teens and felt bad about it but as soon as I turned 16 I decided to work towards achieving my goal, carrying my social anxiety along. And boom I didn't even realize when I started acting normal in public?? Take my words seriously, if you think too much about yourself you will never achieve true happiness in your life. Not trying to sound rude but this probably is the only way you can get over social anxiety.

It’s not that easy man. Social anxiety stems from trauma. So the fear is asked on not wanting to get beaten down any more than you already have. Think about it this way, the trauma crater deep wounds. Those wounds have healed a little bit but if you re-stab an old wound again, it becomes much worse and ever time you open that wound up, it hurts more and more. That’s why the fear gets worse and worse. People literally kill themselves over not being accepted because the pain gets too to be too much. Now here’s the thing. As someone with major trauma in this area myself, I have overcome a lot of my social anxiety. It’s very doable. But I will say that it’s also extremely difficult. It requires a lot of time and a lot of effort. And it’s like 90% inner work. I’m order to truly overcome social anxiety, your validation must come from within. Trust me, seeking that external validation will never work, because right when you get rejected again it will open up that old wound and you’ll come crashing down. Your self esteem will be a roller coaster. What did it for me was to quit drinking, quit smoking, building better habits, taking care of myself, cold showers, buying new clothes, respecting myself, figuring out the kind of guy I am as well as my best qualities. Loving myself for me unconditionally. I’m not 100% there yet, but at this point, rejection doesn’t even bother me anymore because there isn’t nothing someone can say to me that’s going to change how I feel about myself, it’s just not gonna happen. Because I know who I am, I know my character, my values, what I stand for, etc. When you get out there you realize that most people are fucked up anyway. You’ll be like “this is the person I’m so afraid of?”. The average person is a fucking mess. And even gettigg past all that, people will notice this stuff. So in addition to all the inner work you’re doing, you will 100% receive that external validation as well. It’s incredible how it happens, people will sense your confident vibe and will want to be around you. I get compliments all the time now and I never used to in the past. It’s like you become a different person. It’s crazy. But yeah, it’s definitely a long, tough road. I’m still working on myself all the time. Becoming a boxer and doing yoga has also helped too.

This condition sucks! My anxiety has gotten worse the older I get. This may sound dramatic but I strongly believe I was born with it 😅 and tbh i think being the middle child has had a big impact on my anxiety; feeling like I dont belong, feeling/being misunderstood and being an introvert!

I get that we shouldn't avoid. Id advise others of that too. But what if we've avoided for like 10 years and now its impossible. My body is in chronic stress from simple things like going to the store daily and walking past peoples houses. I get brain fog, palpitations, stomach issues and dizzines like im gona pass out and once that stress starts, my body is suffering for the rest of the week. My only choice now is to get sedatives to be able to go somewhere like church. U dont have social anxiety if u can sit in a hall full of people, in the middle or front row of chairs. For me i cannot do that. It annoys me when ppl say they have social anxiety and can do all these things. They haven't got a clue how bad it can be for some. Exposure therapy/not avoiding won't help me right now, it just makes me ill

Try out hypnosis. That therapy works with the subconscious mind and in that way you can easily find the cause of your anxiety and work on it. Each one of your beliefs reside in the subconscious mind, and you can access it.

Tbh guys I think it all comes down to us not liking how we look or our physically body. Or other things in particular about our self that we don’t like that makes our self esteem low then when we go out we stress and over think how we carry our selfs and overly self conscious. We also go back home and beat our selves up about not being confident then getting depressed and comparing ourself to others and how they seem happy. Maybe it all stems from low self esteem due to (something we don’t like about our self and we ignore it) I personally think if I heal from anxiety and depression and depersonalization/ detachment, then I will be perfect and social and ambitious etc… but maybe I need to work on my body because I’m alittle skinny. let’s work for our self love, self esteem, self confidence instead of hoping someone or something will save us with a solution! I will start going to the gym. Hopefully I can write a book one day!

I actually don't agree that that sort of thing doesn't help with anxiety. Unless I'm mistaken isn't it well documented that progressive exposure therapy can be very effective for treating anxiety? That's not to say that in certain cases identifying and treating deeper causes would be much more effective but honestly I'm not a psychiatrist so I can't say for sure. No hate at all, but I think that this kind of advice might turn people away from something that could genuinely help them.

I struggle with social anxiety because I live in a small Midwest city and a lot of people have said things about me on the Internet because of my relationship with my ex girlfriend. I’ve also done a lot of approaches with women that haven’t gone well so I’m always afraid that if I go out to a bar or something people will know who I am and try to attack me. you solve social anxiety by starting a meditation practice to calm the amygdala, combined with gradual exposure and gradual correction of negative thought patterns. Use help if needed. neurplasticity is what caused the problem, and is also what can help reverse it. Don't buy into the "it can´t be cured" statements

THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING FOR FOREVER. I went to a teenage therapist like a year ago and explained my social anxiety to her, which was already hard for me because I'm basically revealing myself to this stranger without anyone i know and trust to be there with me. At the end of the first session she tells me "Ok, next time we're gonna put you in a group with similarly anxious people and do challenges together". Like, NEXT TIME. THE VERY SECOND TIME I'M IN THERAPY, YOU EXPECT ME TO FACE THE THING I'M IN THERAPY *FOR* ????? Needless to say, when I got home I made my mother message the therapist to tell her I won't be attending therapy anymore. But damn, why do people assume it's just THAT EASY to "face your fears"????
@zoorrken
@zoorrken 9 ай бұрын
It isn't easy but that is the best and most effective proven way to reduce it. It's called exposure therapy. And in a group like that you can get feedback how oyu come across. I wanna see someone that managed to think and reason their way out of social anxiety because I don't see it. Most anxious people already seem to be aware that the fear is irrational and they aren't that important to other people but yet it doesn't dissolve the anxiety.
