I briefly met Mike Ness once quite unexpectedly back in 2004 when I worked at Something Weird Video. My boss, Mike Vraney (former Manager to many SoCal punk bands, including Social D) buttonholed me in the parking lot and said, hey come here. He was standing with a guy who looked like a mechanic or a fifties grease monkey and I thought my boss was having car trouble, but then he said, "Meet Mike Ness," and pointed to the guy! Ness stepped forward and said, "Hey, Howya doin?" It was a surprise to say the least. I was sort of star-struck. Ness sounded exactly like he sounds when he sings, that very recognizable nasal quality. He was very humble and seemed rather shy. I think I gave him a custom made bic lighter with a poem of mine on it or some dumb shit. He was very polite and pleasant while I gushed like a fanboy for a minute, and then they split. I will always remember that encounter because it was so completely unexpected.

You have no idea how long I've been waiting for someone to do this one on youtube! You just put a huge smile on my face. Thank you so much! By the way, is there any chance you could also do either Backstreet Girl, or Agent Orange's Bite the hand that feeds? ( Thanks also for the Agent orange ones you just uploaded too! )
