I loved the scene where everyone was waving goodbye to the hot air balloon and Nathan looked at his hand as if to say “well I guess I better wave”. It was a real LOL moment for me. It will be fun to see what develops with Nathan and Mae!

Well those casual dates never worked out in S9. Nathan realized dating was pointless because he was still in love with Elizabeth! So, he concentrated on raising Allie and his career. Then in S10, Nathan saw the struggle Elizabeth was having about her relationship with Lucas and confronted her at the church saying, "Elizabeth, what do you want?" Now the end of S11 is done and Elizabeth and Nathan are a couple! Fear really stopped Elizabeth from being truly happy. She could have been happy in love with Nathan a lot sooner. Unfortunately in S8 fear stopped her and she denied her true feelings to herself and Nathan, but Elizabeth was in love with Nathan the whole time. Instead since Lucas was trying to pursue her, she went to try and find something safe & comfortable to protect herself from possibly getting hurt. Also, she thought she could forget than man in her heart; the man she was in love with Nathan!

In S11 she admitted it was fear that got in the way, apologizing to him and Elizabeth admits she is in love with him too! She was in love with him when he first declared it in S8. Nathan was right when he said, "I know you feel the same way." 😊❤ true love wins! Love is patient luckily for Elizabeth!

Mei is quite a big step up from Elizabeth. I am so happy to hear that there will be a lot of fun, exciting, and adventurous scenes coming up for these two characters. This alone may just draw me back to watching WCTH again, after such an abusive season 8.

Agree..Season 8 & 9 I didn't watch at all...took big break from it and may not even watch it if Mountie does not get back in the story line. & school .kids too..was a family life learning story before S 8 and 9!! Orig WCTH still thw best!

Yeah, I am hoping Nathan and Mae ends up together ❤❤❤ !!! Not a big fan of Fiona and Nathan. Real life couple playing on-screen couples don’t really work because the it is missing the infatuation or initial tension/spark. It didn’t work for Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt on Friends because it just comes off as comfortable or too relaxed vibe. It did work for Angelina and Brad because they work in the initial/infatuation stage.

JT has single handily ruined WCTH..JT hasn't won an award in 35 years and was fired from his last job..MOST FANS WANTED THE MOUNTIE AND THE TEACHER AND NOT TO STRAY THAT FAR FROM THE BOOK..WCTH might of had a lot of viewers for the first episode but finished in 59th place, way down from last year...It's now a soap opera and if I wanted to watch a soap opera I would be watching Y & R..Also if JT wanted to put N with a woman why toy around with her 1. maybe being a criminal. 2. Maybe being married?? I MEAN COME ON...IT'S TOO SOAPY FOR ME NOW...GET A BETTER WRITER THAT WILL TURN THIS SHOW AROUND.

WCTH under Tinker and his fool of a wife Rhonda Rich and colleague Brian Bird and now WCTH exec producer Erin Krakow is a sinking ship. The WCTH writing and production team are absolute liars, stealth liars and manipulators. Tinker is a whipped man. Bird is a closet narcissist together with Erin Krakow. It's interesting how they cleverly leave information out of the ratings...and indeed WCTH season premiere of season 9 was ranked 59th. Now they are desperate to use Kevin McGarry for promotional purposes because they know they took a sharp wrong turn with Lucas. They don't care or respect Kevin...they are using him. Lucas, even though he was cast as the "leading man" is no leading man material. He's a beta boy who wants to be a man, but just doesn't know how. Either a man is leading man material or he is not. One thing's for sure -- Lucas has little to no power to command attention and he never will.

There are many things wrong with the writing that I don't have time to write it all. First of all, if you've ever watched WCTH from the very beginning, one would know that you don't take a good show and turn it into a soap opera. L is shallow and use to getting his way...the writers never made his character likeable among TN fans. WE could of accepted it if they had done so, waiting until AFTER she has chosen him is a very big mistake. The writing half the time doesn't even make sense, their is no dialogue, no themes, no characterization. From what I hear from the new girl that is "suppose" to be N new love appears to be married...what? This is a dang soap opera...do yourselves a favor and switch to day time like all the other soaps are. Not interested anymore..
