I do not justify Shein's labor policies or the harm they do to the environment...but let's be honest, they are not the only ones. ALL big and small companies do the same thing. Should they be condemned? yes, sure, but I cannot help thinking that somehow the companies which are losing markets and profits due to Shein's s aggressive marketing are behind this shame campaign...

Let's start with high fashion houses reducing the number of seasons that they release which inspires fast fashion houses to copy from and release same amount of seasonal clothes, attacking one fast fashion house because it originates from China is just politics and not care for environment, we've had H&M, Zara, M&S and more before shein became popular and this is to be a roadmap for all sectors that over produce including electronics, furniture (IKEA & others)

The labor condition argument might be politically motivated, but the environment damage of fast fashion is undeniable. The extremely cheap clothes were also made with the cheapest fabrics that have been found contaminated by harmful chemicals like pfas. Blindly promoting brands like Shein is highly irresponsible.
