Sir can we put an example here of Indian's conciousness against British exploitative policies, although yes the context is different as that was about British imperialism..but I think the first initial understanding Indians got was about the economic exploitation , drain of wealth etc.. and then they realised of raising their voice.

As interesting as Marx's theories are, it's worth noting that like Freud with psycho-analysis, Marx's theories didn't hold up to falsification. Freud isn't really taken seriously anymore because of it but Marx's still is. If anyone in general, offers you a model about the way the world works, you should aim to falsify it to see if it's accurate. If an Astrologist tells you that your life is the way it is because the stars said so, you should avoid automatically taking the theory as truth because it intuitively seems so, you put the model under criticism to see if it is true. This is how you stop yourself being buried within ideology. This isn't about tribalism, it's about actually being correct in order to provide real solutions to problems. The issue is ideology doesn't provide real solutions, the models themselves are wrong, so the solutions don't work, they often end up making things worse.
