Please take IGNOU BA notes + herlombos (blue book) selective reading + oxford dictionary for sociology (not compulsory but good for clearing definition doubt) + ritzer (only for thinkers) Remember this is not GS this is your optional where you have to be master because this can give you rank and can snatch it from you (i.e it can either make it or break it) GS subjects needs BA level knowledge but optional needs roughly MA level knowledge and Sociology will be helpful in Esaay, GS, Ethics so you can give it time i.e it is beneficial.... All the best for exams. Thanks
