The direction where wall of flesh spawns from is based on where you spawn it at, like for example if you spawn it on the east half of your world it will come from the east, and vice versa

For anyone doing this challenge: as soon as you spawn in, run to the biggest pond you can find anywhere with a wood fishing rod, hopefully you also get a few cans of worms on the way, then start fishing, you want crates because they give potions, accessories, bait, and of course, money, then you're set for the entire playthrough

I think what had happened with the coin gun is that the multiplier potentially werent working with it? Because, to my uninformed eyes, that looked like base coin gun with plat. ammo damage, maybe a little higher. Did you ever go back with a different weapon, like the flairon to see if the damage actually was capped?

this is correct, coin gun is unaffected by all damage boosts. you can still use crit chance boosts though

I don't think I've ever actually used planter boxes for WoF. Stone platforms (from stone bricks) are way better if you're like me and save up all of your stone prehardmode. They don't burn in lava, and in a large world, you'll usually have 2-3k stone stocked up by the time you get around to fighting WoF.

@@chillfrosted2670 I play on console, so smart cursor + joystick places platforms just as easily as planter boxes. Plus, you can build them diagonally, and if you've found shimmer, you can just buy stone as you need it from the merchant via furnaces (plus free wood and torches).

Before watching much I'll guess how I'd do it. At the start, make quick and dirty suitable housing. Throw bodies across the map while breaking grass and rocks for bait until you get to the ocean. Fish up tools and get the angler. Grind quests and crates for gear and cash. Once viable, blast open a massive cavern layer space and switch to a high efficiency mob farm. This farm will serve even better in hardmode. A couple afk mob farm sessions would instagib the rest of the game. Good weapons to use with this... hmm, when you have no coins, anything high fire rate or DoT like fire arrows. Once you have cash, you'd want decent damage, multi target weapons. I think spider minions would be the first OP choice. The sniper rifle might be the best anti-boss weapon. Vampire knives or the spectre set for % damage healing would turn you into a tank.

Coins can't be dropped or can't be put into storage units like piggy bank, chest, and ,safe. And coins that are dropped on death should disappear and lose 100% of the gold in death to make it actually challenging.

coin gun isnt a weapon and doesnt gain damage multipliers, meaning no matter what you did to damage it wouldnt do more than its base damage

The reason you lost your money from fighting the eater od worlds is cuz enemies in expert or master mode can pick up your money and so when the eater of,worlds killed you it picked up your money and then despawned with your money
