Beating Terraria's Brutal Random Weapon Challenge...

Today we try and beat the entirety of Terraria, but I use an RNG bot to chose what weapon I'd be using after defeating any new boss! Now of course, this challenge has been done before (noticeably Gungnirs) so I thought we'd put our own little sockrteez twist on it! Firstly, screw re-rolling, if I get something terrible I've gotta use it! Second, all 402 Terraria weapons will be available from the beginning, and finally, I cant cheese the system by killing a super early game boss to reroll for the end game. Ok, with the rules set! Its a good weapong but Golden Shower is an indirect upgrade that would make the fight easier, with its higher damage, more range, and better piercing.

The water bolt is meant to be fired horizontally, and used as a weapon like the golden shower, on support. You would use a broomstick or someting while mana was recharging.

You can still fight golem outside his arena. Since he can jump through walls now, if you make an area under the temple, if you can get below the dungeon when he is spawned he will jump through the floor. I used the rod when I found it but you might just be able to walk outside and go around to the arena

I did a challenge where I can only use things starting with A. Accessories and armor too. So I had to use aqua scepter for not only half of the games bosses, but the Old ones Army for the Aerial Bane. I feel your pain.

11:30 you just need to be in the Hallow to spawn the Queen Slime. You don't need to actually stay in the biome to fight it.

@@snekback. Not that I'm aware of. If it does enrage, it must change next to nothing and the fight is still pretty much identical to normal. Maybe it just gets increased damage and shoots projectiles more frequently or something but even then its so much easier to fight it in an open space than restricting yourself to the Hallow.

I actually happened to do this same challenge for myself a while back! I think some of my favorite underused weapons I got to try out were the Harpoon, Blood Thorn, and Candy Corn Rifle. I also used the Crystal Serpent for the first time, it's fun.

If you ever want to review modded weapons, I would recommend the Despair mod. A lot of its weapons seem either overpowered or underpowered but it's all really well done. Also those deaths against Golem were painful to watch. I don't know if I would have been able to get through it

The water bolt arena was too big, so the projectiles were too spread out for good damage

Just a pointer if you didn’t know, if you want to create a stairway-like build (like at the skeletron arena) with platforms you can enable the auto-aim function (ctrl key) and when placing platforms diagonally, will join the platforms together to make stairs. Also you can’t accuate in the temple anymore, however golem will travel through the temple if you leave it and you are nearby - meaning if you teleport via rod or by recall potion to respawn nearby you can fight golem outside the temple very useful to make golem easier if the arena is crummy.

Never used water bolt against skeletron, for obvious reasons, but that weapon is great in closed spaces. So I believe two walls at the side of the areana would go a long way to get some ricochet damage going.

I think you should have geared up with diamond robes jungle pants and wizard hat with mana regeneration and attack potions. Fishing for ingredients and looking out for food to boost stats with the hex doll and defeating wof. Even though your world will be in hardmade, there is plenty of things you can do to avoid conflict or do conflict depending on new weapon, if you get a bad one, use a prehardmode boss to get a new one. And with the hardmode armor being so tanky, dying to prehardmode bosses is not an issuey the way, there are plenty of good pickaxe to dig yourself out of bad situations and you can build too. I say this from experience playing terraria for hundreds or even thousands of hours

Btw, heres a guide on how to beat "Terraria". Chapter 1:The Start After entering your world, You will have 2 tools and 1 weapon. You will also have an npc which is "The Guide". He can help you how to craft and give helpful information for you. You chop down some wood and make a workbench. You see alot of things to craft, like wooden armor, wooden sword, platforms and more! You go for an adventure and you either found a desert, jungle and the "Evil Biome" either Corruption or Crimson. Corruption is like a virus where it turn things into evil, once it reaches full control it will turn into a void. The crimson on the other hand is a flesh of creatures and human Remains, Including you if you die there. It turn every thing in its way into bad thoughts or stuff like grass will die out and blood will spread over the grass making it red. You decided to explore the dessert and chop some cactus to make a Cactus Pickaxe And a Sword. You go further until there are "Vultures". Everyone's hated enemy when they start. You dig down to hide from the vulture and fell down into a cave. You saw a chest and opened it and got the "Magic Mirror" which can teleport you home. And some loot. You become greedy and want more loot. Chapter 2: Caving You dig and explore the "Underground Desert" and entering every abandoned house you see. You get Dunrinder Boots or Hermes Boots which makes you run faster. You found a random chest near by and opened it. This is your first mistake. IT'S A "DEAD MAN'S CHEST" Darts are aiming at you, bolders are falling on you and something happens. *EXPLODES*. You died because of explosive underneath the chest. You came back home confused on what happend. And before you go to a another cave, you build a house for the guide. The guide gives you advice on how to know if its a Dead Man's Chest or not. You go to the caves and you encounter the bat. You killed it with your sword. You mine some stone for a furnace and mine some ores like Lead, Tungsten, Tin, Gold, Copper(I wouldn't recommend copper) and Platinum. You explore deeper in the caves and found a purple ore or a red ore. You tried to mine it but it wouldnt even break. So you explore more and found "The Rails" you hop on the tracks to find some ores but you are attack by a bunch of slimes and you decided to go faster and *SPLAT* you comminted "Vehicluar Manslaughter" and you forget about it and explore more and found a tiny hole. And you are wondering "The deeper it gets, alot more ores!" you stared digging and digging until you found the "MUSHROOM BIOME" you explore and found a "Spore Bat" it's just a bat? You killed it and explore the wonder of truffle and found great loot and you found a strange heart, you mined it and you tried to eat it. And then your brain gives more blood to your body, Your heart pumps faster. You felt healthier than ever. You explore the biome and the Mushroom Biome ends. You explore the caves once again. Chapter 3:Its hot!! You explore deeper, deeper. DEEPER THAN YOUR THOUGHTS, AM I GOING INSANE?? ORES ORES ORES!!!! You heard a boiling noise and decide to check it out and there's lava. "lava? I never seen that before" you dig deeper again and more lava spots "THEY'RE EVERY WHERE!!" you found a chest next to a pool of lava. You opened it and found a "Lava Charm" it grands 7 seconds immunity to lava. You wore it and explore more until you saw a black tower with lavas. You Realised, YOU ARE IN HELL! You panicked and used the magic mirror and went home. You put your furnace and melt some ore to change them into bars. You gear up again and feel and "Evil precense Watching you". You shrug it off and a giant Eyeball came. It's the "Eye Of Cthulhu!" Chapter 4: Like A Boss You used a bow to shoot at it while the EoC (Eye of Cthulhu) sending minions to distract you. You dodge them with the guide helping you to fight it. You shoot with your flaming arrows, and the EoC starts spinning." WHAT!? IT GREW A MOUTH?" the EoC transform to a gory mouth. The EoC dashes at you, you get damaged. With one heart and the boss trapping you, I hope I can try next time! The Guide says otherwise. The Guide shoots arrows and the eye of a devil is dead. The Guide gives tells you to use platinum for armor and the bow. The Guide also recommends you to get more life crystals. You go caving again and get does armor and life.

I would suggest crafting the goblin battle standard instead of waiting for the goblin army, I tend to find that whenever I do a playthrough I end up getting my first goblin army sometime into hardmode, and so I just started crafting the spawners myself instead.

I think a cool idea would be a Mage run, but you start off with max mana crystals, and every single time you die, you permanently lose one of your mana crystals. Lose all of your mana crystals, and you lose the run. (Of course, when I say "permanently lose" I just mean it's illegal craft more crystals.)

Yeah the water bolt was good enough to stand without a class specific build before 1.4 (aka it was broken) now you need a class specific build but after that’s is still very solid.

skeletron/prime with shurikens is extremely doable. Just make a minecart loop and use mushroom or better cart. the dungeon guardian mode top speed is the same as the minecart's

5:30 You're firing up and down, not side to side. The straight walls you built allow you to properly angle the shots so that any single water bolt projectile is likely to hit Skeletron three times or so. Because of how he moves, even if you had a perfectly straight floor, up and down simply wouldn't get the same results in an average fight.

im so lazy when it comes time to fight wall of flesh I just break holes in all the demon apartments to make sure that I can somewhat easily get through them and then drink a water walking potion. Using the natural terrain as cover honestly makes the fight easier with some weapons.
